Authorities have been trying to identify the body of a man that was pulled from the Missouri River at Council Bluffs.

UPDATE: Body Recovered from Missouri River

Police now confirm the body of a man between the ages of 35 and 40 was found in the water about a quarter-mile south of the bridge. The victim has a tattoo on his right forearm and was dressed in only a pair of blue jeans and a black belt. No identification has been made. An autopsy will be performed.

Body has been identified as Jeffrey Kahler, 37.
