Sorry I am late to this. I always mean to respond quickly but seem to end up distracted and behind. :blushing:

Respectfully, I wonder if we read the same document? I have linked the one I read as it shows that TB did not, in fact, pass her drug tests. Both a hair and urine specimen tested positive for meth.

Nor was her eval considered a "pass'. Due to deception on the part of TB, the CD evaluator was not made aware of the positive meth tests, which negates the accuracy of the evaluation.

IMO, the whole episode from start to finish, smacks of a typical drug user attempting to manipulate the system- and at every turn. I can't think of motive for anyone but an addict to try to fudge UA and/or eval results.

Not one of my bumbling friends/relatives has faced any of the legal issues described in this document, much less the entire list of legal troubles.

Honestly not trying to bash anyone, nor be disagreeable. I just personally find it helpful to be realistic and neither cast people in a too negative or too positive light. jmo

I answered before I re-read the document. You're correct, she didn't pass every drug test.

I stand by my belief, however, that in this particular situation, AuntTB is telling the truth as she sees it. And that her view of the truth appears to be vague, without a tight grasp on the facts or on differentiating what she thinks, what other people think and what is actually known.

She appears to me to be someone who really, really enjoys media attention.

LE has requested all such videos, but it's possible someone hasn't complied with that request. Also, I believe footage from an ATM camera near the Collins home has been subpoenaed, so something may come from that. JMO

As I stated earlier, I suspect LE has much more than we know.
Just as in Mickey case they released what they wanted to release for good reason. I suspect they are getting their ducks in a row as well as their evidence.

I suggest we stick to substantiated FACTS, not hersay and mumbo jumbo. This is a high profile case, FBI is involved. I'd like to think they know exactly what they're doing.

A friend of mine used to say; "Be patient. It will all come out in the wash."

LOL! I just shot wine outta my nose. Whaaaat?

After the pantaloons-flapping-from-a-vehicle chronicles of last week I splurged on a plastic keyboard cover. Worth every penny! :toastred:

First, welcome!

Second, I think this is a REALLY important point. If I could question just one person in this case, it would be Tammy's 11-year old daughter. To solve this crime, we need to know where they were the first time Lyric was "late."

Third, it should be noted that in that JVM interview, when Dan says, "they went to a certain destination..." Misty gives him a firm elbow in the ribs. She then butts in and tells the story her way, about the park. That, to me, is a very telling interview to watch on video.

Got a link?

Well, some people indicated they would no longer associate with a family member who smoked a joint or took a xanax...

snipped

Or even private residence with security cameras pointing at their driveways. There must be more video somewhere.

I would venture a yes on that.

I keep reminding myself that about this time with the Sierra LaMar case, LE didn't look like they knew anything. And yet, it turned out they already had a suspect.

One discouraging thing to me, though, is that I have a hunch that there may well have been more cctv cameras in California than there are in Evansdale.

At least, more cameras on private homes in Morgan Hill.

I was thinking more about some of the missing children cases that have gone on for months, if not years...as recent as Isabel, as long ago as Haleigh. Early on in those cases, it seemed certain that they would be solved, the child would be found. Lots of activity, etc. And then when it stops, it just seems to stop.

I agree. In the two JVM videos someone kindly posted yesterday (watched both of them - thank you to whomever posted those), AuntTB seemed to like being in the spotlight. In light of what happened last night to one of her own, I wonder if she will still be willing to talk.

So that's why my family dumped me. Always wondered.

And instead of front page news, the child becomes an "anniversary" story.

I've never even tried marajuana, and I'm going to need someone to pass that joint over here. :floorlaugh:

It has continuously been frustrating for me in this case because there is no street view of Evansdale available. We could look for those cams if we did. Arrrrg...

Exactly right. And I hate that personal moment where you go from being SO positive and SO excited and SO certain the child will come home to that dark, cold thought of, "They may never come home."

Just once I want to see these kids live and on camera and healthy instead of post on a link which I check to see if there is anything new.

Then you can pass it right over here, my head hurts from this case and worry over these girls. :banghead:
