You're right, the 12:30 time was given by DCI and later reported in MSM. But the 12:30 sighting is not mentioned anywhere by LE or FBI, to my knowledge. LE has maintained the last sighting was at about 12:15. So who gave DCI the 12:30 time, which was later reported by MSM?

Obviously we don't know everything LE knows, but the time the girls were last seen is important. That 15 minute difference could be very important, IMO, and I'd like to know why DCI is using the 12:30 time.

If Lyric and Elizabeth were abducted by a pedophile, do you think he: a) targeted both of the girls; b) targeted one of the girls; or c) was just looking for any young girl?

I think he could have targeted them both. Just like Duncan chose an 8 year old and a 11 year old.

Both of these girls would be of prepubescent age which is usually the desirable ages a pedophile targets.

Yes, it could be a he and a she. I have seen cases recently where a man and woman will work in tandem to kidnap young children for sexual purposes. Just like they did in Jacee Duggard's case.

I feel this was done by a pedophile and Im beginning to believe they did not live in the area but may have been there for some other reason such as having family in the area or were temporarily working in the area. It just seems if it was someone remotely known to the girls LE would have connected the link by now.

It seems they are stumped.

This is not a "reporter" it is an official from DCI, so I tend to believe this is a fact. How the sighting occurred is not disclosed, but I am convinced that it is a real, verified sighting, and not just a rounded out time, or a reporter being sloppy.

Yes, that too.

Perhaps a witness saw the bikes at the lake around 2:00 that day. The bikes were "officially" found by the volunteer firefighter between 3:30-4:00 (reports on that time vary). Later the witness learns about Lyric and Elizabeth (maybe local evening news) and tells LE about seeing the girls' bikes around 2:00. So voila, the time the bikes were found changes to 2:00.

JMO, there could be other explanations. Also IMO, the witness must have been able to provide good enough descriptions of the bikes to convince LE that the bikes belonged to the girls.

Calling it a lie seems harsh to me. Does Gma Cook think that police tell the family every detail? I'm sure they've been told by now why LE can't do that. Maybe there is video she doesn't know about.

LE says the girls were last seen at 12:15. DCI says the girls were last seen at 12:30. So there no other sightings between 12:15-2:00 (LE) or 12:30-2:00 (DCI), to my knowledge.

Well yes, but in the same breath if they thought they had a car or person on video, the family may recognize. They would be the first to see it.
Why play guessing games if some one could ID it.
I felt that they threw the video stuff at the wall to see if it would stick. Scare the perp, see if someone moves. That sort of thing.
It is a slimy mess that no one claims now...
