Well yes, but in the same breath if they thought they had a car or person on video, the family may recognize. They would be the first to see it.
Why play guessing games if some one could ID it.
I felt that they threw the video stuff at the wall to see if it would stick. Scare the perp, see if someone moves. That sort of thing.
It is a slimy mess that no one claims now...

This is all making me feel like LE has nothing, and like you said it was thrown against the wall and now it's sliding down in one big mess.

As a local, the news said there was this video survelliance that could lead to new clues. Got my hopes up! But it is nothing new. The police are asking us to let them know what to look for in the survelliance. I thought maybe the girls were on there with someone.

I agree....... cops don't tell family members or the general public every detail.

Yet I wonder how many details LE actually has? Asking in a rhetorical kind of way:

These little girls Lyric and Lizzy have been gone 8 weeks....close to 9 weeks really.

I sure wish they would go back to the Monday before the abduction and look at the videos of around the Collins home where Lyric and Elizabeth rode there bike to see if some one or some vehicle wasn't there on everyday or so.

But IMO, I think a witness saw the bikes at around 2:00 at the lake.

LE says the girls were last seen at 12:15. DCI says the girls were last seen at 12:30. So there no other sightings between 12:15-2:00 (LE) or 12:30-2:00 (DCI), to my knowledge.

It seems pretty obvious to me what LE has been thinking all along. Not sure they are right though, and I hope precious time has not been lost by myopic thinking.

Also, it was pretty painful to hear Gma defend the family by saying all of the drug-related problems happened years ago...JVM jumped her case...Ouch.

The girls had been there before. I don't think there was any doubt that the girls had been there recently, there has been no proof that the girls were there that day.

I think grandma needs a little more credit than she's been given.

If the girls were abducted and then driven to the lake to stage the bikes by the perp, it is possible that they were forced to stage them at, e.g., gunpoint..then get back in the vehicle and off they went. However, if there was a vehicle there, with that tight timeline, I would imagine that the bicyclist would have seen a vehicle parked or leaving, not just bikes on the trail. It would have taken a little "doing" to go onto the lake side of the fence and place the purse down (I don't believe LE said it appeared "thrown").

OTOH, there is a possibility that the cyclist made the cell phone call and then saw the bikes..and was mistaken about the timing of whether he saw them before or after the call (which can be verified at 12:27); which would allow for them to be seen on the bikes at 12:30. The bikes then remained in that position until they were found later in the day.

I did contact DCI....today after (i think it was) CN2Souls posted the SO link and i looked him up just to look him up, and saw he is MIA / unknown where abouts. :maddening: Even tho i contacted the DCI and gave what i know & what i thought & my contact info, yes i still do feel that doomy its to late feeling cause i should have said something sooner. :banghead: I did contact the DCI before i posted that and then after contacting them & posting here i remembered the thing about him constantly telling me he was riding his bike around the trail at grays lake in des moines every morning after work. I was hoping that a detective would call me but one hasnt. I will call back tomarrow and tell them about the bike riding around the lake.:banghead:
What are the chances its him? I dont know & most times i doubt my Intuition and 9 time out of 10 my intuition later on when it proves to me that it was right or partly right. :banghead: Thats why i feel stupid and guilty at the same time feeling like its to late cause i didnt speak up sooner! :maddening: Geesh i just feel like crap about that!! :banghead: Ya know? One the one hand you really doubt this is the guy that its just a coinsidence but the other hand my intuition was just so strong telling me he was. Man if that was my kids i would be dying inside & thats why i feel so bad and like its to late because so much time has passed! :banghead: lease:
The thing that bothered me the most is that we only worked 3 days a week and we had 4 days off and he wasnt sick and was gone on work days (as in more than 2) right before and after the girls went missing + my intuition was on high alert with him, not just because he is an RSO but because of the way he was acting and the energy i was feeling when he was near me.....he just set my intuition off big time.

I hope you hear from someone soon about what you suspect. Like you said, even if he isn't involved in abducting Lyric and Elizabeth, you know he is a SO and maybe the information you have about him will help LE catch him before he offends again.

Yes your correct.....I sent it to the DCI and it included all the information i have on him plus my thoughts and intuition about the girls concerning him and i expected a call from a detective or someone but while at work no one called and one has not come yet, so i am going to call in the morning to the DCI and again give all the info to a live person.
Geesh i have no idea if this could be him, it could all be a coincident, but i feel so bad for not saying something sooner! Geez i lurk here every day + i truely had (and still do have) this nagging intuitive thing that keeps telling me it was him.....God i dont know why i waited to speak up!!! If its NOT him then i hope i caused no problems except for the whole MIA thing on his part!!! :banghead:

I really wish we could get the time narrowed down about when the girls were where. I also wish we'd have LE release stills from the surveillance videos of the cars in the area in the minutes after the girls were seen on camera.

In Mickey Shunick's case, LE released stills of Mickey on her bike at an intersection and then stills of three cars (two trucks and an older Cadillac-looking car) that were seen on camera in the area a few minutes after Mickey. They made it clear the drivers weren't necessarily suspects but may have seen something they didn't think was important (but actually was). LE asked the owners of the cars to come forward & identify themselves in case they did see anything that would help the investigation. Two of the drivers came forward & were cleared; the third driver was Brandon Lavergne, Mickey's abductor & killer. The community knew that all the cars except a newer 4 door white Chevy Silverado had come forward. This made it pretty clear Mickey's abductor was likely driving that truck. This put the community on alert to report RSOs & shady acting owners of 4 door white Chevy Silverados and led to tips that brought BSL to investigators' attention. I'd love to see something similar done in Lizzie & Lyric's case.

I know it's entirely possible whoever took these girls was not following them at the point in which they appeared on the security cameras. But just in case, I wish they'd release stills of the cars and ask the drivers to come forward.

Right, but then in the last paragraph it looks like she remembered some more information. If this incredible story is true, then she should report everything. IMO

I dont see that it is so incredible, it may very well not be him, I dont really know because my intuition is not a fact, its just the way my body / mind energy system works.
It is how ever not a story and very much so the truth so help me GOD. Things that are not truthful are not worth speaking because they bring problems and so forth to those who are fanciful or lie, and that my friends is just NOT me.
Yes i did contact DCI and i will call them in the morning along with the tipline as soon as i dig it up.......any one have the TIP LINE handy??? appreciate it my computer freezes up and it takes me forever to post and find stuff thru links :maddening: some times i have to shut it off and restart! :maddening:
