You might be thinking of Robert Arnette. He killed his wife Naomi Arnette in IL in a tiny town and buried her just a little ways from home in a shallow grave.

He joined what used to be CTV/InSession Forum and posted often, used his name and all. It was there that he told huge lies. It was beyond absurd, and what a hinky-raiser that was.

That was an interesting case... to say the least. I archived it, but at the time I didn't have a clue how to screenshot let alone make a story using the web-ID and credits.

Yesss... I'm almost positive that you've correctly identified the perp that Athy brought up earlier upthread. I tried and tried to remember his name, but couldn't probably because I hadn't followed that case. I did, however, remember posters on CourtTV/InSessions mentioning him on more than one occasion. It seems there was yet another one that they would mention, also. Unlike Arnette, I don't believe the other one posted under his own name. lol

You did a great job of capturing and saving info to photobucket. Believe me, after seeing those images, I won't ever forget his name again. What a sleaze and dolt he was to have said anything negative about the poor victim. And I thought I would barf at what he said when friends realized she was missing: "I wasn't surprised..." I have read somewhere, sometime, that they are now moving towards SUVs as the vehicle of choice.

In Bundy's day, it was VW's. More recently, your white van. Now that is being replaced with SUV's (with tinted windows).

I had pointed this out on a thread very recently where a girl had gone missing, the suspect in question was driving a VW...@@!! even though a new type of car not the old fashioned bug.

Turned out he was guilty.
