remind me, please?

I didn't edit my post soon enough. I do not believe we are allowed to discuss this person (or anyone) until a POI is named.

There is a meat processor directly connected to the case. :puke:

ETA: I don't believe we are allowed to discuss said person until they become a POI

:waitasec:Wow!! I didn't know that. I have just recently started reading this case. I was thinking that if there were any processors maybe a hunter bringing a deer in recently might hold some answers.

Does that mean you think the bodies were moved after they were found? Or that the distance between them just isn't "that far" as in they are closer than it looks?

I don't think the bodies were moved after they were found. LE would defiantly know if the bodies were recently disturbed. Vegetation would have grown through and around the bones and if recently disturbed it would be very obvious. It was very hot and dry this past summer and decomp would have happened very rapidly. I would think all that was found was skeletal remains still intact and clothing. Possibly jewelry and other personal effects if left behind.

The bodies being a little ways apart could be from a few different things. I don't think animals moved one entire body that far from the other if the girls were killed nearer to each other. Either the girls were killed where they were found, place farther apart after being killed by the perp or one girl could have tried running away and was possibly shot, while the other girl was shot where she stood.

Could LE be using the term "bodies" versus "skeletal remains" out of respect for the parents, relatives and friends? Just wondering.

Its possible and would be very commendable if so. I can't remember having seen it in the past though. When they found Jessica Ridgeway, they used remains and she was found shortly after she disappeared. Cailey Anthony (not that respecting the parent was important) was refered to as remains, and she was missing for about the same time as Elizabeth and Lyric.

I was surprised that the families were called to the station so they could receive the info that the bodies had been found. How were they expected to drive home after receiving such devastating news?

On tv shows the police always come to the door at their home. I know, it's tv, but does anyone know how it normally happens in the real world?

Lieberman said he was told the bodies were visually identifiable and had not been out in the elements for 4-5months.
Perhaps the killer kept the bodies in a freezer, then when hunting season started, he needed the space?

Heaven help us!

I've seen both.

This just makes me sick. I was really thinking, kidnapped driven to seven bridges, killed. Done.

The thought of them being held alive more than an hour makes me ill. The thought of someone keeping them in a freezer for months makes me wonder. ugh

This is so unfair, these poor families, they do not deserve this.

Wow, if that's true that they hadn't been out there 4 to 5 months, this is sicker than it already is. Those poor girls if they weren't killed right away. smh

I am thinking they were held captive and suddenly the perp had a change in living arrangements. Someone returning to the home? A new relationship? Something that made the perp dispose of the girls recently.

watcher9..
In our case they came to the door. We were not possible suspects, and no recording of the interaction was needed. Was better than a phone call, imo

So true! It's not fair to the community either! The local person posting earlier was very frightened. If I lived there I would be wanting more answers too! Heck! What am I saying? I don't live there and I want more answers.

:what: BBM. Wow, visually identifiable. This gets stranger and stranger.

I wonder if identifying someone's clothing counts as visually identifiable.

Or how reliable the reporting there is. I'm going to be skeptical of this until LE says it officially.

Good question! Good idea!

If I lived near Evansdale, my kids would have leashes on them.

This is terrible.

God forbid they were alive till yesterday....!

Two very good points. I will also remain skeptical since we have not heard it from LE.

BBM

That was my thought as well. If these unnamed sources are correct, then I need to seriously rethink my theory.

Oh, God, please don't let it turn out these girls have been kept alive by a predator all this time!

As a parent, I'd think that would be unbearable to find out. If they were alive until yesterday, where were they all this time? How were they not found? 5 months? So close to home? Unfathomable. :(

I agree, 'eyeballing' might have been size & clothing, but IF the bodies are newer (best term I care to give) it would no doubt aid in forensics. Uggh, I always try & look for the positive & this is the best I could come up with :panic:
