I think it was sexually motivated, but yes. I agree not a RSO. No way.

I won't comment anymore on him or the CVM facebook but I'll sure keep a watchful eye for a while.

In da olden days, they would call this a "lynch mob." I hope people put all the pitch forks and ropes down soon. Let LE retrace, rebuild, and catch this freak of nature.

What motive would you suspect instead? Most crimes against little girls are sexually motivated, as far as I know. Honestly, I can't think of any other motive, other than when parents kill a child out of rage or spite.

Life is full of coincidence, but most of the time there is no wild surprises or grand conspiracies. In MY OPINION: This is probably not some criminal mastermind we are dealing with here, it's not the mafia or some drug cartel, it's just some sick who robbed these girls of everything they will ever have.

I highly doubt the bikes were staged. Why would the killer take the astronomical and unnecessary risk to do this? Anyway, hopefully the police have something, hopefully this heartbreaking discovery fills in the blanks they needed, and hopefully an arrest is coming quickly.

If not then there will be other girls killed. In my opinion it really is that simple. The guy (or gal I suppose) who did this is a maniac and he will kill again. He might have already done just that. So hopefully they catch him soon.

I just think it's kind of ridiculous that a bunch of Facebookers think they are doing a better job at investigations than the Police.

Loose lips sink ships...Let 'em talk. They might say just what needs to be said. Doubts are present though. Not many, but there are some. It just takes that one tip.

The same thing has been said of WS and a lot of other true crime blogs/sites. IMO, people need an outlet when they are afraid and frustrated, the fb site is filling it.

I don't think this was an RSO, either. As to sexually motivated, I tend to think such would be secondary, actually, and not necessarily the primary motivation. JMO, of course.
As you stated, there is zero at this point.
I, personally, have other horrors that have come to mind. I pray it won't be so.

We've discussed this many times, but it's always good to get another person's point of view.

I believe all the perp had to do was tell one girl that if she didn't comply, he would harm the other girl. IMO, that would be as effective as brandishing a weapon. It reminds me of a line from The Green Mile, when John Coffey said "He killed them with their love. With their love for each other. That's how it is, every day, all over the world."

Some posters feel the perp used a weapon to control the girls.

Others poster feel there was more than one perp.

So as you can see, we have differing opinions on the subject, but we are all united in our desire to see this perp behind bars.

Thanks so much, Marilyn -- I can certainly see it much more clearly now. I have a cousin (I am an only) for whom I would have done that same thing with no hesitation. So yeah, in most cases, it would have been quite easy to control them. One perp works for me now. I was just not thinking along the lines you mentioned. Again, thanks!

That's always been my theory, but I've kept my mind open to other options.

Regarding CMF, the most compelling point against him in my mind is that his birthday was one day before the girls were abducted. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I know that some criminal behavior is triggered by meaningful dates such as birthdays, holidays, etc.

So while I'm not convinced he is the guy, I certainly wouldn't rule him out at this point.

Just a note this evening: Lyric's mother surfaced today and issued a statement to news media basically saying 'I dont want to hear the gruesome details; our girls are with God and that is all that matters'.

Evidently, public speculation has reached a high pitch with many people trying to speculate on details ...

I wont speculate beyond the mother's statement issued today.
