Apparently Heather (or moreso Drew) thinks it's funny that people are upset about the complete scalping of Meyer's Lake.

Heather received a "surprise" cake from Buzz Anderson whom she is friends with and made these comments regarding the trees on the cake on her FB page.

People are very concerned about the Collins' connection to Mr. Anderson and his funding of Angel's Park.

Those comments made about the trees really leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

She appeared to almost say the word murdered, killed, etc. but caught herself.

I wonder if she thinks that anyone believes they just "wandered" to 7 bridges and died of exposure.

Or maybe she can't speak to any of it since she doesn't want to know and commenting on anything specific would indicate otherwise...who knows.

"Once that memorial was announced, we needed to do something to get that memorial built".

Also an interesting concept as again, originally the PR's all stated that it would be built with funds already donated and received.

I just read that and was coming here to post it!

Perhaps Heather cannot force herself to use the word "murdered", or maybe she has been asked by LE not to use the word. JMO. After all, LE has never officially said the girls were murdered.

Could the following scenario establish a false positive with the dogs.

If this crime was premeditated and the girls were abducted from Brovan and their bikes and the purse taken to Meyers Lake, could the killer have removed an article of clothing or a shoe from each girl and shaken the clothing or let the clothing or their shoe touch the underbrush/stones near the water's edge.

If the girls did make it to Meyers Lake, imo, someone may have instructed them near the Collins' home to do so. I think that person may have been seen by the girls from the window.

I would love to hear Dale H., criminal profiler's take on what she thinks may have happened on that day.

What type of individual(s) could be so stealth-like and from all appearances thus far, not make one error, however, maybe they did make errors and LE are keeping that close to the vest too.

I think it was a self edit, done not because she cannot bear to say the word killed or murdered, but because so many feel this memorial park is over the top and that a shrine of sorts is being created to the girls. Angel Park supporters and friends of the Collins family have been telling teh public that the park is not meant just to be about the girls, murder victims, but about all children who have passed (and are now Angels).

I think that was the reason for her self edit. That coupled with the cake FB exchange tells me the Collins family is very very aware of the recent public criticism regarding how the Angel Park project has been handled thus far.
