Looking through the Waterloo arrest logs, I found someone who lives on the street mentioned in the story that was arrested on the same date the story came out. I don't know if there is a connection though with the "interview" guy.

To use Iowa Courts Online, click on "Start A Case Search Here!" Under Trial Court, choose Case Search. Next, enter the name of the person (respondent, defendant, payor, etc.) you are looking for and then click on search.

It took me a minute to find it too. Do a search for the person you want to look up - aka if you wanted to look up all court documents related to John Smith, you'd go to "Start A Case Search Here!" Then choose the top option, Case Search. Then enter the person's name - in my example put Smith under "Last Name/Firm," and "John" under first name. Ignore the "Firm" thing - it's not needed if you put in a last name. Substitute the appropriate name in place of "Smith, John" from my example, depending on who you're looking for. Remember you may have to scroll down to see all results.

It may seem confusing because we are looking at two different links at the same time. One is for the Iowa trial dockets which is where Misty's name shows up and instructions are now posted by nikb.

The one I was referring to is for the Waterloo arrests. Look for the arrest date of May 16 and then scroll down for the Logan address as stated in article where the black SUV was found.

Remember not to bring any name over until something is officially released because we don't know if they are even linked to this case.

"THEY" doesn't appear to include Lyric's family that I'm aware of. "THEY" include Heather and Drew and their "supporters". Those are the people whose focus is on raising money.

Misty and Dan appeared to go back to their way of life prior to the girls being murdered. Heather, Drew, and crew have focused on raising money from what I've seen. JMO

This difference in life styles (???) might give some credence to the idea
*one of the girls was the target and the other got swept up in something
? In reality there is nothing that says both families were ever on the same
page ? This could be making LE's job even more difficult sorting it all out
following disparate leads according to the differences in the families.

I find these 'associations with criminality' troubling. That alone could have
spelled trouble for "the girls". Accordingly, "the girls" may not have the
tight definition we think it does and attribute to them -

These 'complicated situations' seem to be the standard for a lot of people
these days. The social cost can be large!

Bunger Middle School's Partners in Education have finished a memorial lounge area in the school's media center in honor of Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook-Morrissey. There will be a small open house ceremony at 6:30 p.m., before the school's orchestra concert. The ceremony is open to the public.
