I have been in such a selfish "warped-kind-of-h_ll" all day trying to capture everything I could abt this ?O/T innocent young missing girl that I completely forgot abt that specific statemt from Abben.

Totally ON-TOPIC: that statement, imho, is Major, it it not?!? wow... wow... wow...

Gives me re-newed hope for the case of our little girls.

I was slumming around Iowa Court dockets online this morning and checked the usual court cases out. I ran across Misty having a new docket (last on the list) where she just put up bond money for a career criminal out of West Union. His record beats even DM's. Meth and the rest. Doesn't really help with who murdered the girls but find it interesting. I think she's still on probation. Most restrict contact with known felons. The guy bailed out had a warrant for parole violations. New name to me. Happened just a week or so ago.

According to the Dayton kidnapping suspect MK's Facebook profile, he went to high school in Waverly.

Once I saw the SO page (which showed the dumbo ears), I figured I had the wrong person... well, not really, but only due to the fact that the 2 main photos I was viewing on the socialsites didn't show the ears... lol

I am curious which prison he was in. There is the Maximum security men's prison in Anamosa which is about 60 miles East of Evansdale and there is the Medium security prison in Fort Dodge that is about 60 miles West of Dayton. He could have been in either one of them. But if he was in the Anamosa men's prison, that could have easily put him near Evansdale after his release.

I am curious which prison he was in. There is the Maximum security men's prison in Anamosa which is about 60 miles East of Evansdale and there is the Medium security prison in Fort Dodge that is about 60 miles West of Dayton. He could have been in either one of them. But if he was in the Anamosa men's prison, that could have easily put him near Evansdale after his release.

Newton is a prison for people that are nearing their release date. It is a training facility to prepare prisoners for the outside world. It also has a substance abuse program to help inmates cope with substance abuse problems once they are out. So he probably was there at the end of his sentence.

I have been told he grew up in Waverly (I also believe that is what he had listed on his facebook). Waverly is 25 miles from Evansdale. Waverly is straight West of Seven Bridges park, he would be very familiar with the area if he in fact grew up in Waverly.

All of these cities that his crimes took place in as well as Evansdale are with 110 miles of each other. Dayton can very much be compared to Evansdale. The area they are searching is along the Des Moines river valley. The area is reminiscent of Seven Bridges.

I guess my next question would be how long has he lived near the Dayton Area. Did he just recently move there after Lyric and Lizzie disappeared.

Of all the people we have looked at as possible suspects in Lyric and Lizzie's disappearance, this guy is a very strong possibility, though it could all just be a matter of coincidence. moo

graduated Waverly HS in 89; per the article kidnapped the toddlers 2yrs after that in Charles City which is just a bit north of Waverly.
Then the following year kidnapped the woman in Mason City which is just a bit west of Charles City.
Went to prison...released in 2011, not sure when he arrived in Dayton or why he went there.
will be interesting to see if any evidence connects him to the girls.
Quite scary how this guy has a perfectly "normal" looking fb page/life, but obviously not the case.
Also would like to know if he had an acquaintance with the recent girls or if they just "trusted him" and took the ride or if he gave them some type of fake story to get them in the truck.

I wonder why they did not check into him??! He has a history of kidnapping two children at once, is on the SO registry, and is a local! How often were hog farms brought up here? At the very least, the previous child abductions should have been a huge red flag.

I really don't see this guy being the same perp who killed Liz & Lyric. It all just seems to be a big coincidence to me at least. The kidnappings took place less than a year apart, I would think he'd be stupid to attempt it again this soon. I'm also not really sure why so many think this is the guy? Just because he kidnapped two girls and lives near Hwy 20? I just think it's all a big coincidence. It would be interesting to find out how long he's lived at his residence. Also I don't believe Dayton is as close to Hwy 20 as Evansdale is. With the new 20 that was built I believe Dayton would be at least 40 miles south of it.

Hello everyone... Please be patient with me, I am an extreme newbie,yet, I have been a lurker for years. This case has turn me into a bonafied armchair detective with absolute determination... I am a mother, and a resident of the state of Iowa, as well as someone who has been a victim of a sexual predator... There is one thing that keeps jumping out at me in addition to the fact that this likes to take them in twos, when I first heard about Lyric and Elizabeth , I was struck by the closeness in age yet the difference in height, weight etc., I know that they have not released any info. on what the current 12 year looks like (size, weight, height etc.). , but in describing the 15 year old missing girl , her stats. are like that of a full grown woman! So, not only does he prefer two girls, but possibly, one that resembles a young woman physically, and the other on the cusp of preteen... I enjoy all of your thoughts and comments, please excuse our delayed introduction as well as my choppy deductions..

Serial killers and sexual sadists, both predators, love to drive. It is not unusual for them to put thousands of excessive miles per month and year on their car.
