This is why I asked...I haven't heard anyone say anything about whose bike she was riding. If it was Lyric's. I am curious to know when it was brought there and who transported it and in what vehicle they transported it in.

Aunt Tammy gave Lyric the mountain bike. I believe (but do not know for a fact) that it was probably stored at Aunt Heather's house because Lyric had lived with Aunt Heather up until May 30, when Misty was released from the halfway house. It seems reasonable that they didn't move her bike from Heather's to Grandma's (where she now lives) in a 6-week period.

Elizabeth will be 9 on Tuesday.

:please:

I am hoping that if it is someone familiar with these girls and they are still with us, that they will have the decency to let them come home in time for little angelface's birthday. That is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw Elizabeth...such a sweet little angel face. Both girls are way too young and innocent to have to be going through such a hard life.

Thank you! :rocker:

Especially since it sounds as though Lyric spent alot of time at the Collins' even before Misty started her job. It would make sense to just leave it there.

I'm trying to think this out as I type it, so hopefully it will make a little sense.

I don't think the "Lyric as drug mule" idea likely. Possible, but IMO not likely.

Also, if someone wanted to snatch Lyric in retaliation for DM's testimony against him, it seems there would be easier ways to do this without involving Elizabeth. So unless one of DM's former drug associates just happened to driving by and saw the two girls and spontaneously decided to abduct them, I just don't see this being a retaliation against DM.

This could be a stranger abduction, someone who set a trap at the lake and waited for someone to walk into it. From what Ollipop has described to us, and photographed for us, it seems like the area where the bikes were seen by TG would be well-suited for a random abduction.

But I keep coming back to one theory - that the girls are safely hidden somewhere for whatever purpose, and the entire disappearance was staged. I don't want to go into details of why I think that because my theory involves family members who are still considered victims.

It is so hard to leave the drugs and dysfunctional family dynamics out of the disappearance of Elizabeth and Lyric IMO.

Well, my Lil Knot is home now, so it's 'Just Dance' time. I hope I will miss wonderful things happening tonight and will read about the girls' homecoming tomorrow morning!

You'd think by now it could be determined what clothes they must be wearing...
And especially Lyric, if she was visiting, did she bring just a certain amount with her? What is missing?

And Grandma has said she and Lyric go to Elizabeth's home every day for three or four hours.

Elizabeth is the wild card here IMO, which is why I'm leaning toward an abductor that may know them locally, who they befriended or trusted...lured them or surprised them. All the drug complications, while quite stunning, are like shiny objects to me...I hope there is a strong investigation on a parallel track...MOO

I recall reading something about Lyric wearing shorts, a green PJ top, and sesame street flip flops that when put together make a character. And, Elizabeth was wearing shorts, white top and high top sneakers. But, I am not sure if this was accurate and it is not stated on missing posters to my knowledge.

I don't mean to sound like a wet blanket, but little girls don't drink energy drinks...they taste terrible.

Lol -- I hadn't even thought about the girls! I didn't have any one person or persons in mind. Actually, I was hoping to get people thinking of other ideas -- ideas that did not involve sleuthing family and friends.

Regarding the flip flops...I believe I heard Misty say that she thought she was wearing the flip flops, because they were the only shoes "missing" from the house...not that she saw them on her. I'm not sure what Gma saw or if she said anything about it. MOO

You are not alone in that belief. It just makes the most sense.

I just wanted to respond to your bolded comment. I think it's important to remember that Lyric and Elizabeth have had two different types of upbringing, and IMO Elizabeth's life isn't what I would consider "hard."

A lot of our focus has been on Lyric, mainly because there is just so much in MSM regarding her family situation. I would definitely say her life has been hard. But we shouldn't assume that Elizabeth has suffered through the same hardships as Lyric.

Sorry if I seem nit-picky. I'm just trying to make sure we keep looking at these girls as two separate individuals.

I certainly will keep my fingers crossed that Elizabeth is home for her birthday.

Someone who ran into them while they were out playing, at the ball park, or even at church! I just realized a couple of days ago that they attend the same church, which is very close to Elizabeth's house. It sounds like these girls are together an awful lot. Also, while I don't think that they ran-away, I was thinking about my own children and their cousins, with whom we spend a lot of time. The little ones around 6, 7, 8 absolutely idolize the older ones who are early middle school ages. I could see the younger ones tagging along for just about any escapade. Cousins who are close have unique relationships.

I guess I'm rambling now... just feeling heavy in my heart for these sweet girls this afternoon.

In speaking of Elizabeth I was mainly referring to her mom having had a heart attack and being frail and what she is enduring now. As for Lyric, I was speaking of the parents criminal records and absence from her life.
