I'm not sure if anyone wants to humor me on this, but I have had an odd feeling when I look at Hanson lake on the map for some time now.

Can anyone tell me anything about that lake, or about the way one might go about getting girls from where the bikes were found TO that lake?

I have absolutely no reason for this line of thought other than my gut, but since there's nothing new going on I may as well throw it out there right now.

And can someone please tell me if they know what this area is used for, or what this is? A camp of some sort maybe? Thanks!

Does halfway down the area with the double fence seem like a good place to abduct two children, or would it be better at either end of the double fenced area?

Otto, I tell you what in the middle of that chain link fence on that trail is so secluded that it would be very very easy.

GGE ... I had a weird feeling about that area as well. They look like homes ... mobile homes maybe. It certainly is a foreboding looking are though. The fact that there are so many bodies of water and a river is so disheartening to me ...

Wonder if he's still at the campground.

You could answer his ad and go find out! You know, take one for the team. :floorlaugh:

Just trying to rationalize in my own mind the bikes and the timeline.

If the girls did not ride straight to the lake and the abduction did not take place there, then why dump the bikes there? *Say they were grabbed off the street into a vehicle and the bikes were taken too. Someone would have to take the chance of being in the area longer and potentially being seen grabbing them and then leaving the bikes and making a getaway. The only way i see this scenario is if the bikes were left as a message, otherwise why not leave the area and leave the bikes somewhere they may not be found. **

With the tight timeline we have, it is more likely they rode to the lake, dropped the bikes and were lured into a secluded spot and grabbed. * The question in my mind is then simply, was someone random waiting there for a crime of opportunity, or were they followed and grabbed as retaliation.*

That is precisely the question I am pondering as well. It seems odd that a random perp would come across the girls so immediately after they arrived at the trail. It makes me think they were being stalked.

Is there anyway to check license plates online to see who owns a vehicle?

So ... easy to grab the girls. Thanks. If you had to estimate how long it would take to walk the length of the double fence area, what do you think? Maybe Ollipop has an estimate as well?

If the guy couldn't get the XXXXX he was advertising for, he might have nabbed a sweet young thing or two...I got a bad feeling about this guy. Right time, right place, right motive, bikes, likes water. Of course, he might not have. Wonder if he likes energy drinks? LE should get those and get DNA. MOO

A bull mastiff?! Um, NOT a good dog to have around kids! That is the dog breed that attacked that poor woman in San Francisco who was returning to her apartment carrying a bag of groceries. The dog burst through the door of the neighboring apartment, ripped her throat out, and killed her.

If we're thinking of the same horrible story, the dogs were of the Cane Corso breed.

Another Cane Corso recently caused the death of a 4 year old boy in Boston.

Keep in mind that this is not the dog's fault but the handler's! However, we are reluctant to put the handlers "to sleep."

Oh geez, maybe 2 minutes or less. At a fast pace.

I sure hope this case is moving forward behind the scenes...
When LE stopped giving the daily briefings in Isabel's case, it was like there was...nothing. We've never heard anything again, and it has been months.

This craigslist camper says he has no drivers license, so he uses his bike for transpo.

I think this might clear him of this incident. I am not sure he could have nabbed two girls on foot and taken them to his campground without a vehicle.

He could have marched them into the woods around Maiden Lane....or...he could have hooked up with a kinky chick w/ a car. Of course, just cause he's a creeple doesn't mean he nabbed anyone. MOO MOO
