Does anyone have a link to whoever said they backed their vehicle in down by that wooded area when they were searching?

SBM to save space.

I'm not so sure that we're working with an 8 minute time frame. LE has made no mention of it. None. LE only says they have the girls seen on surveillance tape around 12:15 and that bikes were found close to 4:00.

I also think that 8 minute time frame is based on what ointment-fly Gamerdinger claims to have seen. Either we are basing that whole thing on 1) a misunderstanding of what Pahl said (owner of store with camera in back that caught the girls) - which may have been based on what he was being told/overheard FBI agents discussing, or 2) TG's original statement as interpreted by us (since LE hasn't commented much on that).

1) He could have just been saying that the difference between the camera time and his cell phone's time was 8 minutes, and that that would allow two girls to cover much more ground than was originally thought. Or he could have heard FBI agents discussing something 8 minutes from 12:15 (original estimate of camera's clock), 8 minutes from 12:11 (actual time on camera's clock), or 8 minutes from 12:19 (time on his cell phone that would coordinate with the camera's time), 8 minutes from 12:20 (the approximate time that MSM said TG spotted the bikes), 8 minutes from 12:27 (the time that was specified by TG on FB).

2) I really think we need to go find where the time of 12:27 was mentioned first. Was it TG who said that? Was that the time of his phone call, or did we just assume that because it was such a precise time? I seem to remember him figuring it would have taken him 7 minutes to get to where he made the call from where he saw the bikes. Could he have meant that his phone call was at 12:34, and so he figured that meant he saw the bikes at 12:27, then a news outlet, rather than assuming his times were perfect, just used an approximation?

I dunno...its getting late and I'm very distracted, but I think what we think we know of the time line might be based on our own conjecture.

I do remember in one video that always bugged me that Misty said they parked in the grassy area to get to the lake. I have no idea where the link to it is, but I do remember it was said the grassy area and she implicated the area near Maiden/Abutus. It was in the first few days though that the news interview happened. Could be NG, JVM...or local.

I want to ask this again for the hundredth time, :).

Has there been any report about a vehicle picked up by the surveillance camera after or right before the girls rode by?

No, there hasn't been any word from LE about a vehicle.

They removed a dock?

Sorry if this is repeated, I'm way behind again... but yes I remember seeing a few docks were removed. I think it was due to a risk of damaging them, not anything more serious. (?)

He said his phone said 12:27. His daughter said her phone said 12:28.

Oh, remember when things you have read and heard disappear, that's a good thing possibly. Usually used as evidence.

That Abben, I think he played Barney oh so well. I don't think he is dumb btw, he just didn't answer even the most common of questions like "how may officers are on this case", or "how many tips have come in so far". He said he couldn't answer.

I have faith again.

No bodies. :(

:rose:
for Lizzie and Lyric

Is it your theory that someone whom you can't discuss because it would violate the TOS murdered the girls?

Did she say Maiden? Or did she say Arbutus? Or both? Tia!

Do any of you remember the Jonbenet ramsey case when the da of boulder came on tv and said something to the effect of "we know who you are and we will get you" and one man committed suicide 24 hours within that statement, we learned years later. And thats why they suposably say and use those methods?? Do you think that worked in this case kind of? Do you guys think at all that JC could be a suspect? He keeps coming back to my mind!!

Oh know need to be sorry:) it just baffles me, what would be true evidence to say they are alive. Its crazy!!

She said just the grassy area and implicated the back way to the lake via the woods/grassy area. I thought she meant from Arbutus or Maiden. Sorry, I know I heard her say it though.

So she hasn't lived with either parent since 2004. I didn't realize it had been that long. I thought she was back and forth between troubles. I still think she's too spunky to have been abducted by a stranger without having fought in some way. That's why I keep leaning toward someone she knew.

Well, sometimes people do informal custody arrangements where the child lives with someone else informally. I think, though, that WC would have wanted to keep the legal stuff up to date, since MCM has been under legal supervision since she left prison the first time (sometime in 2005).

Overall, I think the chances are good that Lyric regards Grandma Cook in the same way she would regard a mother.

If Lyric had been alone, I agree with you. I think she would have been the kid to squawk and run. But with Elizabeth there... if the perp had a grip on Elizabeth and was threatening to harm Elizabeth, I'm not so sure.

I mean, I know I would be hard put to resist under those circumstances and I'm an adult. Especially if Elizabeth were crying, I think it would be incredibly difficult for Lyric to abandon her and run (even though, strategically, that would be the best decision).

Best evidence would be faith that whoever took them had their best interests in mind. That remains to be seen. IMHO.
