As I recall, he was ruled out as a suspect in the Gosch case but why was never made clear. His MO was identical to what is alleged about Johnny's kidnapping, and Gosch was a match to the profile of boys this sick monster preyed upon.

Gunderson: had posted on his website that aliens were kidnapping children and using them as slave labor in secret mines under Area 51. I know that you stated that TLG is computer-illiterate and that may not be aware that the alien story is there, but this information appeared on his official web biography. It is not the sort of information that gets misunderstood ("I told him that I was experienced in fingerprinting, but my webmaster thought I said that children were being used as slave labor by large reptillian aliens at a secret underground compound in Nevada. I guess I should enunciate better.") I do not consider him legitimate.

Rothstein: claimed that he had a picture of George HW Bush together with Johnny Gosch that would break the case wide open. When the picture was released, it was a picture of a campaign stop where JG's face had been superimposed onto the body of someone in the crowd standing directly behind Bush. Problem number one is that Bush is a very tall man and "Johnny" was close to the same height. Problem number two is that Bush has never been accused of being an idiot, yet Rothstein would have us believe that George was dragging his kidnapped child sex-slave, one of the most famous of all missing children and the original "milk carton kid", along with him as he made public appearances. Rothstein either knew the photo was bogus and ran with it anyway or is a complete fool for falling for this hoax. I do not consider him legitimate.

BTW, Rbeck, I have not forgotten your request for details beyond the above about Gunderson. I will gather and post my info over this weekend - I want to make sure that I am correct in any statement I make and that I can link to the appropriate source for my material.

I need to share some information that you guys dont seem to know about Russell Eric "Rusty" Nelson. Rusty is NOT i repeat NOT a child pornographer period.While Rusty was working for Larry King as his personal assistant\photographer he took legit pictures for Larry King and his charities he was involved in. for instance the opening of the Black History Museum in Harlem NY which Larry king donated a substantial amount of money to. during his employment Rusty was asked numerous times by Larry to take pictures of the pedophile orgies and he refused on every occasion. "I knew what was going on and I avoided them(orgies) like the plague" a direct quote from Rusty.Larry hired a second photographer named Nick (i dont know his last name) to take the child pictures. The blackmail photos that Rusty gave to investigator Caradorri before he was killed were not pornographic but showed some of these children in the company of politicians where if any of these kids could be identified as boystown kids, missing kids (johnny gosch) it would raise eyebrows and ask questions of what they were doing there. Delurking to put in my own 2 cents.

I currently sit on the fence as far as whether the Franklin Case and Johnny Gosch are connected. I'm still trying to sort everything out and I very much appreciate the information provided by ALL posters.

However, it's obvious to me that whenever certain aspects of this case are brought up, there are a couple of people that try to shut down the conversation. Why is that? I realize those people have already made up their OWN mind about things but why do they try and prevent the rest of us from doing the same?

If someone brings up something that I already know or if they start going down a path that I've already discounted, it's really not that hard for me to skip that post or ignore that poster. This website is not a news outlet or a court room. It's a DISCUSSION board! Please let the discussion continue!

There are already at least three threads on this site, on this subject, that each run for 26 pages. If you plug "franklin cover-up" into google you can access hundreds of webpages on the topic, all of them repeating the same "information" over & over again. You really need to see it dissected again, to "make up your mind"?

I went from a lurker to a poster, years ago, because the Gosch threads on this site were being abused. The terms of service for Websleuths prevent me from discussing the details of exactly how they were being abused, and I intend to honor that, but that's how I became an active poster.

You are right, however, that it's not my place to decide if a given posting is spam or not. Perhaps I should relent and just let "the conversation" flow wherever it will, eh?

Ok. But I reserve the right to confront & debunk (respectfully) all false statements, in detail.
