I don’t like to jog with my phone simply because of the weight. I think it’s better to run with it though in case something bad happens and you need help. That’s especially true if you are a female and jogging in an isolated area. I think the fact that she may have had her phone with her may lead to evidence that could be a huge lead in this case.I may be in the minority on this but I used to always take my phone on my jobs. Now, I leave it at home. Depends on how you carry it, I suppose. But I feel like, unless the phone is strapped to your arm, it is a distraction and can make you less aware of your surroundings.
Question, and likely already covered here, if and when would the dogs have been locked in the basement under normal circumstances? Meaning was it normal for her and the Nd to do this? Would she have done this when she went for a jog, or if they left the house? Meaning were they down there so they didn’t “get into” things, etc? Tia and sorry for rehash, so many posts, doing my best.
It seems more likely she would have been abducted while jogging, imo, or someone saw her and followed her. Again confused about the timeline. Thank you for responding.
Don’t forget though, the family isn’t privy to what the police know, and they may disagree with what the police think. I find this to be understandable. Why the different stories! Red shirt missing. No, not missing.
Homework late into the evening. No, she never made it home.
Strange
I don’t know how many times she stayed there but the mother stated that Mollie kept belongings at both houses, so take that for what it’s worth. We know she jogged regularly as she was involved with cross country. One more question, how often had she stayed at the boyfriend’s house in the past, and during these stays did she jog at this regular time and route, tia.
If the answer is not often and not jogging on a regular schedule then one has to consider a crime of opportunity. Is this a fair assumption? (Depending on the answer to this question). Thanks again for responding and sorry for rehash.
All the cases that I have in mind include an attack in the immediate area. They are encountered upon a trail or road and forced into the woods, where the assault and murder occurs. A difference here is geography. The perp could use a cornfield, but assuming that he has a vehicle, it might be conspicuous on the side of the road. This would necessitate transportation to another area.So let’s take a look at similar of women abducted while jogging. Not attacked on site, but actually forced into a vehicle. In these cases how far were they taken and to where? Often with children they are taken back to the perp’s home (Jessica R, Hailey O), sometimes they are taken to a nearby isolated location where they are assaulted and usually killed immediately. Since there has been a massive search effort closely i wonder how far she has been taken out..I realize there are lots of cornfields etc...sorry thinking out loud, not sure where I’m going wth this post...
I think it depends on who took her and why. I still think it was someone she knew. If he took her because he was infatuated with her, then I don't think she was killed immediately. I hope she is being held - alive. But I doubt that's the case now. If she didn't know her abductor, then I figure she was sexually assaulted and killed immediately. But that's JMO.So let’s take a look at similar of women abducted while jogging. Not attacked on site, but actually forced into a vehicle. In these cases how far were they taken and to where? I haven’t had any of these questions answered by everything I’ve read thus far. We know she stayed there atleast often enough to necessitate leaving some of her stuff there. To go a bit further with your questions, I’d like to know how often this particular situation arose where she would be house sitting.Another question and thought is is there were any workers nearby, lawn, maintenancee, plumber, handy man, electrician etc etc, I’m sure LE would know if there had been any recent visitors to the home for such purposes. Maybe a neighbor had one of these visits?
I really want to know how often she was at bf’s house. Was it on certain nights, etc.
Also when had she last walked the dogs?

Any areas under construction nearby? Homes?
What bridges are within a couple hours of the location?
Thanks again for answering these questions again and for your patience. This is helpful not only for me who is limited on time, but also for new posters and people joining Mollie’s case. Also thanks to everyone in advance for keeping the media thread updated. From the article it sounds like she stayed there often.
"Mollie sometimes changed for work at her mom’s house before taking the Pontiac but also kept clothes and possessions at Dalton Jack’s house.
'She sort of lived across both houses, she had her stuff in both places,' he told DailyMail.com.
Jack said Mollie would sometimes borrow his truck, a Dodge Ram 1500, and head straight to work without stopping in at her mom’s place."
