Someone mentioned the red shirt I just came across this vid. My husband retired LE said they would have sent shirt in for DNA testing perhaps that’s why no arrest yet waiting for results. He said they don’t want that leaked to the public to scare off potential perp before arrest is made fingerprinting and other DNA testing as well.
We still don't know if a shirt was really found. I thought we were supposed to move on from this subject or am I remembering incorrectly?

IMO once someone is reported missing, their cell phone privacy rights should be completely out the window. Weeks or months to decide whether or not authorities should see records/pings/etc is ridiculous. Not like LE is giving out any other useful info, they surely wouldn't publicly post a copy of them.
I think we should be able to sign a release that if we go missing we give the rights to LE to search our cells.

Hello, I have lurked here on the Missy Bevers, Abby & Libby, Fort Worth 3, and all of this Mollie Tibbetts thread. I have been researching the internet with what material is available here, and that has lead me step by step, to now believe Mollie is a kidnap and likely a murder victim..... When and if justice prevails, and Mollie's killer is caught, I predict it will be a young male, from a nearby town, who is known to Mollie and her family, through school activities and possibly some past business dealings with his family. ......It is very likely that WC knows this person and possibly even suspects him but, I believe WC is innocent of Mollie's kidnapping and possible murder...I believe Mollie's caring nature and interest in preventing suicide in others, contributed to her being taken...........I did report my discovered info to the tipline earlier. Hopefully they are already on to this person..... I will not post very often and I hope I have broken no WS rules in this post. If I have , please delete it. .... I enjoy the forum and reading yall's posts and I too hope for a happy ending or justice for Mollie Tibbetts.

If there are as many FBI agents on the scene as has been reported, I imagine at least one had been assigned to monitor WC’s every move. Doesn’t seem like he would be able to pull this off, unnoticed, IMO.
I agree. If he’s not under direct surveillance he’s certainly being monitored electronically, possibly with a GPS device on his vehicle.

I think the reward should stop getting larger and larger. That in itself might make someone wait to see how high it goes. Of course LE is probable getting some ridiculously outrageous calls too with this high reward.

I wonder if the people who are calling in their theories as to what happen think that if their theory is correct, they're going to get the reward.

I wouldn't call a theory a tip.

And we should also tread lightly on thus topic so we dont get thread closed again.

Have I missed something? Where are you getting utah and California out of all this?
LE stated she may have gone to Utah, dont know, what week that was. MSM. Also, her father lives in CA. In case she did leave of her own volition.

No. I have posted nowhere else. I like to lurk here only and sometimes something pops up that leads you off on a search for info.

So, what if someone that took Mollie knew of WC criminal record and framed him? Not because they were upset with him but because it would point the finger at him and therefore not at them? I would imagine lots of people in the area know and knew of his criminal background.
It’s possible, but I doubt this crime was that well thought out. The door is certainly open to that theory though.

WC reminds me of my late uncle- a millionaire - owned tons of land and a huge Christmas tree farm- only ever saw him in coveralls that were dirty and ripped- He was a man of few words and not very social- He did not have the same background or any charges against him like WC does but I can easily imagine if he were questioned about anything by LE or the media his words and mannerisms would likely be similar- not defending WC just saying we as humans operate and react to things very very differently- helps me keep an open mind and to realize we cannot always judge a book by it's cover
No disrespect to your thoughts and point of view but WC’s body language are far from that of a socially awkward individual. Behavioral analysis has been practiced for many years by investigators. If you’re a trained observer you can distinguish between social ineptitude and high anxiety while answering questions. WC may just be a guy, no doubt, but it’s my opinion that his body language contradicts much of what he said. Now, he may not care one bit about a missing girl and may even find it amusing. Feigning concern for the situation could account for some of his tells and erasures.

If I remember correctly from when someone posted a rough map from Brooklyn to WC's location, it's on what goes for a highway or at least a decent sized north-south road - maybe an abductor got "lucky" and disabled the cell phone while driving by his place. The Fitbit would show that as the last location.

My suspect has a Utah connection.

Can you tell us about what type of person they are? Nothing to give it away, no initials, just how they are?

There’s no doubt he was nervous, but why exactly? Maybe he has general anxiety about law enforcement from his previous contacts. Maybe he is uncomfortable in front of crowds, or reporters with cameras. There is no doubt he has shown himself to be very nervous, but there are reasons other than the obvious nefarious ones that could be the cause.

With all due respect, it's *very* common. Just look at the number of missing people reported on Websleuths. The FBI local/state folks get involved when they can offer support and resources and local LE asks for assistance. That isn't rare at all.

There are, literally, thousands of abduction cases that have occurred over the last few decades. I've lost count of how many I've followed in the 20+ years I've followed true crime.

Not all cases get the same media attention, but the ones with a missing child or a young female college student sadly tend to follow familiar patterns. Sometimes the person is found/body recovered. Too many times they're not found or at least not for years. Missing young adult males tend to not get the same media coverage, depending.

MSM has referenced there are currently approx. 88,000 people in the USA listed as "missing".

If true - I'm amazed the amount of resources given to this case.

If you are an expert in reading body language, you should get verified as an expert in this area on the site.

Absolutely plausible. Could just as easily be a lucky coincidence than an intentional act to mislead.

I have never posted on any forum but here, now. I may be wrong in my suspect. I only hope they catch whoever did this.... Nope. My first post with limited info about my suspect was deleted.... I must have broken the rules somehow.

It may also be both - disabling a cell phone by something that will take some time to search - say, a pig farm, since he lives near one - will result in a search that will take considerable police resources. I think other posters with a lot more knowledge in this area have mentioned the difficulties involved. Meanwhile you'll have made it anywhere in the country.
