I placed pins on the locations where Mollie was allegedly seen while on her jog as well as her starting point (JD's home) and destination (Mom's home for dinner). Not sure of the accuracy of the witness sightings or if I have all of them, but if they're all true, then Mollie would have been all over town on her jog and may have gone past Casey's.

Though no one knows what happened to Mollie, I keep thinking of the Jacob Wetterling case. The perp in that case saw Jacob, his brother and friend and went ahead of them on their route, hid and stepped out with a gun. He saw them as they went to the store to grab a video. It was a crime of opportunity and I feel like this is what happened with Mollie. Going near the gas station would increase the likelihood someone from out of the area would have spotted her imho.

Of course, all of this is speculation.

I don’t think the delayed presser could mean anything good no matter the scenario.

If they are getting things together because of a big break it most likely means she’s dead. If she was alive somewhere and they had good information there would be a sense of utmost urgency.

If they just postponed it because they didn’t want another ‘we are working on it’ presser then they don’t know anything.

Neither of these are good. Although I guess the former option is preferable since at least there would be answers. If she’s dead, not knowing doesn’t make it not the case. (This isn’t Schrödinger’’s cat).

Either that, or they have nothing new going on. I can 100% see LE making the (IMO, correct) calculation that they can't step up to the podium yet again and provide absolutely nothing in the way of information to the public. They have exhausted both MSM's and the public's patience with that particular "non-communication communication" strategy, again JMO.

But if they have no new information why keep postponing, why not just postpone until they do have new information.

It would be interesting that's for sure, especially with a little bit of commentary as you pass the landmarks or feelings you get about certain areas.
