Do you have a link for this witness report? I do not remember reading any reference to 10pm other than DJ opening a snapchat from Mollie around 10pm.

They aren’t missing - @Jennifermn created this forum’s best map. She had DC’s location on there (he never saw MT) and there is a discrepancy in reports of DR’s sighting - 8 or 9 pm. It’s thought the 9pm was a typo.

If there are and current, retired or former LE Officers on this thread - and assuming you've hadexperience with media/press related matters - would you please comment on wether MT's family and close friends (DJ, BJ, AH, etc.) would be coached and held to a tight script when talking to media/press?

It's my firm belief that they ARE definitely coached and held to a tight script, etc.

I can't for the life of me think that LE says - just go out and use your best judgment when it comes to dealing with the media/press!!!!

There's a young woman's life in the balance here - and I can't imagine any scenario other than putting the fear into them that you need to follow this coaching/script or you could jeopardize MT's life.

Yes, we need more of Magnumpi' s opinions or anyone with experience in law enforcement. Just to hear their ideas or experiences I think it would be helpful to know what goes on inside an investigation in general.

I am certain the FBI and LE has every wee nugget of info on her phone and I agree the Fitbit is something of a distraction.

The Fitbit pinged at the hog farm. From what we know, this is the reason the farm and surrounding area were so thoroughly searched. This Fitbit ping is probably the reason WC has been thoroughly investigated. From what we know this Fitbit ping represents the last known location of Mollie. How is this a distraction?

I find it difficult to grasp that she only had the 1 work tee shirt.. It's easy to determine if the red shirt found was the same brand/fabric as the screenprinted shirts she wore at work.

I also wonder who else had access to those red tshirt.

The post refers to DC on West who did not see MT running but LE had talked to him and told him MT’s Fitbit took him by his house and supposedly they told him she had it back home. You can find this in the Daily Mail article or many other articles. No specific time was mentioned.

The 9:00 sighting from DR has been questioned as a misquote when he actually said 8:00. The 10:00 time from Fitbit is news to me. Never saw a statement about time given for that. Moo

Link for the bit about 10pm? I have not read that LE gave him a time frame for that Fitbit data.
EDited to add the paragraph that is floating around all the MSM articles in regards to DC:
“Neighbor DC <edited for initials> a retired maintenance director for the school district, said he was interviewed by investigators who told him that data from Tibbetts' Fitbit showed she jogged past his home that evening and made it home from the run safely. He said investigators told him she was doing homework on her computer later that evening.”

Honestly the first thought I had when I saw the video was that she was acting coquettish as a girl would if a guy was filming her. Not necessarily someone she liked or was interested in but someone she did not expect to or feel comfortable with filming her. I dismissed that when someone here said a girl had posted it.
