And this is why im confused, Dushi. Thanks for responding. Are people supposed to be looking for her running outfit or the red shirt and denim? I know I saw early on it was her running outfit.

If it's completely voluntarily and evidence shows it is, there wouldn't be an investigation. Adults are free to "disappear" if they want to. It's not illegal to leave.

I'm nearsighted and currently -5 in both eyes. My worst prescription was -5.75. I put my contacts in when I shower each morning. Take them out right before bed. I keep my glasses on the nightstand because I can't see a darn thing without them. I'd say Mollie's glasses/contacts angle hinges greatly on her prescription. I wouldn't even attempt to answer the door at night without my glasses. I'd have to get within a foot to recognize someone. For those who wear contacts, do you also have a pair of glasses? If so, when do you prefer contacts and when do you prefer to wear your glasses?
When i first heard about this case early on, I saw the media and others posting about her clothes and saying she went missing while on a run. I wonder why they said that and why they changed from that to saying she went missing after her run?
all im going to say is i am worse then that lolI'm nearsighted and currently -5 in both eyes. My worst prescription was -5.75. I put my contacts in when I shower each morning. The thing is you got to think she let somebody in while she got ready or was sleepingI'm nearsighted and currently -5 in both eyes. My worst prescription was -5.75. I have always thought the person who was to drive Mollie to work that day might hold the answers. JMO. That person was never mentioned in any of the MSM articles.
There are so many posts, I haven't been able to read them all. Please excuse me if this is redundant! Are either of these things related to Mollie's case or are they even related to each other? Opinion only, of course!
The guy taking pics of Dubuque joggers?
The guy who tried to grab a Dubuque jogger but she fought him off?
IMHO
when you find the answers let us knowHere is my understanding and / or speculation:
I believe she was to have gotten the car from her mom's house on Wednesday night, and that she would've driven herself to work in the morning. I think she might have even generally done most of her morning getting ready routine at her home and not at the bf's house. It's been unclear whether she spent a lot of *nights* at the boyfriend's place or just spent a lot of *time* at his place but my guess is that most of her stuff was at her own home and that she didn't necessarily take a suitcase over there to dogsit. When our son was in college and home for the summer, he did some house sitting but would always come on home in the mornings to shower and change and grab breakfast before heading off to work.
So basically, I think the brother was surprised to see the car they shared was still at home when he woke up in the morning. Knowing she'd have to hoof it home to get ready before jumping in the car and driving off to work, and that it looked like she was maybe running late, he texted her at 7:30 and asked if she needed a ride home (as in he was offering to drive over and pick her up so she wouldn't have to walk / run the mile home).
If I've put those pieces together correctly, I kind of suspect that she returned to the bf's after her run, showered (maybe) and started doing homework, and then someone stopped by the house and visiting with that encounter prevented her from walking back to her own home to get the car at a reasonable hour. I wonder if that person then offered to run her home so she could get the car, and she left willingly with them taking her phone but nothing else.
I know her wallet was at the bf's house. What about her car keys? Do we know if they were there, too? Or do we know if there was another set that would've been in the car? I realize leaving her wallet behind means she didn't have her license on her, but it was just a mile's drive and it's not uncommon for small towns to not have their own police force or for the police to be off duty except for emergencies late at night, so there'd be no danger of being stopped.
I’m surprised the family is saying things like this when the authorities won’t confirm one way or another. I would think they would be on the same page when it comes to divulging information.
I guess my thought is if Mollie did have terrible vision and her glasses and contacts are all accounted for I would then wonder if she was taken from bed. But then that leaves the phone. If she was yanked from bed who grabbed the phone? The thing is you got to think she let somebody in while she got ready or was sleeping
I don’t find this confusing at all. I’ve said all along that Mollie’s disappearance was volentary because that’s what the evidence says.
They aren't talking to the media, but are scheduling, and holding (seemingly) worthless press conferences. They are watching people at these conferences. Either they have someone in mind and they want to see how that person acts, or they have no idea and are hoping the perp shows up and they will closely examine every person that does attend. MOO, of course.I am surprised they stated there would be another presser Friday. I wonder if they plan to release something/anything? Otherwise it will only serve to keep Mollies name out there. Again.
Even with bed vision, you can still make out shapes and see if somebody is trying to grab youI guess my thought is if Mollie did have terrible vision and her glasses and contacts are all accounted for I would then wonder if she was taken from bed. But then that leaves the phone. If she was yanked from bed who grabbed the phone?
