Out of respect to MT, I highly doubt they would do such a disrespectful thing as releasing any of the autopsy report info. There is a reason for the Iowa law about this, as written. The public's curiosity and their right and need to know only goes so far. Between now and the trial, it's going to be an information desert out there folks. (Drains canteen, throws it away) Lip balm?

I didn't say they would or that I would want them to; I'm just explaining how the land lies regarding the autopsy report.

These are all good questions. But they are difficult to answer because of his immigration status. We have been warned not to discuss his legal status. But I feel you cannot really discuss this case without mentioning his immigration status, Fact is we don't know much about the perp because he was not here legally.
I totally agree that you can't really discuss this case without considering his immigration status.

Interesting 2002 study University of Tennessee forensic “Body Farm” analysis of cadavers with clothing on compared to nude and effects on decomposition. So the need for anthropologist exam of remains for help with time of death. This study has pictures ( be prepared) taking into account all IV stages of decomposition. If you don’t have the time look at beginning introduction portion and conclusion. I could summarize IMO, but I know lots of experts here and I’m more interested in any thoughts and ideas you have relating to this area.

https://trace.tennessee.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=https://www.google.com/&httpsredir=1&article=2084&context=utk_gradates

Some interesting findings : It was determined that clothing retards the process of decomposition in the spring and summer.

A clothed body takes approximately 1.7 times longer in the spring and twice as long in the summer to decompose than a nude cadaver.

In the conclusion portion of study
Two notable exceptions are rape and homicide victims, and homeless individuals. Victims of rape and homicide are often thrown out nude, or with little clothing. Homeless individuals are known to dress in multiple layers throughout the year, making a season estimate difficult. In such a case, it is assumed that multiple layers would further curtail the decomposition process.

Yeah, you right. But with all of that MT's clothing was minimal, a lycra sports top and running shorts or leggings, and running shoes. Even fully clothed, delay of decomp would be minimal. BUT, if the tight fitting sports top was left in place, it might well have preserved the skin (by preventing it from sloughing) and allow LE to early ID evidence of multiple sharp force trauma to the chest and torso, as indicated in the initial arrest warrant application.

13 Caused personal injury

I don't see it.
Hair and eye color maybe.. that describes myself as well as millions of others, I think. As for type of body I don't see that at all. As well as shape of eyes.

Have you seen that kind of search being done in the ditches anywhere else?
No, but many areas I'm now wondering about weren't along roads I explored at the time.

He has been in the US a number of years. He certainly has his history here.

Has it been said what kind of phone he has? I only had a phone that I called a minutes phone. First with Virgin which cost me $7.00 a month and then with Verizon. $100 a year

Mapping it out taking 200 south all the way to 470 and then east to Poweshiek-Iowa Rd (which looks like a minimum maintenance road, if that), then north to 460 and the cornfield takes over 30 minutes. That's just one possible route accounting for 470.
I'm still speculating this as a likely route:

But there is still plenty to discuss. I still think there is a good chance he has the makings of a serial killer. The excessive violence, predatory nature, apparent lack of remorse, blaming the victim, justifying his actions, deception, acting totally normal and going to work the next day, descriptions by people of his being " quiet", insinuation that victim made him angry, ( in his mind she deserved it), all point to him being a sociopathic killer, in other words Anti- Social Personality Disorder or at the very least narcissistic, and that has nothing to do with his nationality. I started out with that too! He was able to access a map so I assume it was some type of Android.

Yes that’s it. This case allegedly involves a violent intentional death and we know that because the autopsy findings revealed the cause of death to be multiple sharp force injuries. There is no other reason for an accused to inflict sharp force injuries upon a victim other than with deliberate intent to kill.

CR was charged with this:
  • First-degree murder: any intentional murder that is willful and premeditated with malice aforethought.

It’s not a case of a felony murder whereby a female was abducted or sexually assaulted and for example, while committing the felony the perp slugged the victim in the head to get her to comply ( no intent to kill) but as a result, the victim died.
  • Felony murder, a charge that may be filed against a defendant who is involved in a dangerous crime where a death results from the crime,[71] is typically first-degree.[72]

Right, and all this from a single, initial arrest warrant application. The litagation process is not a sprint, but is more like a marathon. We all must wait and see if the State AG will add additional charges to the Bill, to firm up his case for the jury and to keep the defense up at nights! It's a suspenders and belt kind of thing. Both may seem ridiculous when you wear them at the same time, but you won't get caught in front of the Bench with your pants down either!

Why do you think the suspect would take such a roundabout route rather than drive the back roads directly to the body location?
Which is the most direct, fastest, secluded route?

There was a gag order listed on filings in this case on the Iowa State Court website.

That is interesting about 470th...
Why is that? I can't tell from the map. Is it a less traveled road? Does it go by the farm that was searched?
