I think I read he did milking and pretty low level work
If he did milking, that just means he hooked the cows up to the machines. The dairy could hire prison inmates who qualify for work release to do that work.

Question.

The boss said he couldn’t question it because of discrimination issues. But what rights does an illegal worker have in that sense? Can they truly sue in the USA a potential employer, when they are trying to commit a crime? Like being hired under a fake name?

I don’t see how that is even an issue.
I sure didn't hear the boss say that. All workers must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be able to prove it. If E-Verify flags them, they have a certain amount of time to "fix" whatever is red-flagged.

From what I’m read that dairy farm only has about 10 employees

Does that seem small or normal?

It’s just been mentioned where JB/CR worked, I don’t know if that includes other area of the farm

I have no idea how big the dairy part of that company is.

She was not skeletonized when she was found, and if she was wearing clothing they should still have been on her - just like Laci Peterson who rolled around at the bottom of a shipping channel for 4 months. She was still wearing clothing.

A body placed underneath cornstalks isn’t necessarily protected from animal disturbance.

As well, I notice various media reports have summarized the quote below into a brief “her clothing was found at the crime scene” as if to suggest that was an investigative finding. But the context of the original sentence did not reference any other information beyond the fact her clothing was utilized to ID her body.

Based on the interview with Rivera, the clothing found at the scene where the body was located and tentative identification by the Medical Examiner based on information about certain articles of her clothing, the deceased female is Mollie Tibbetts.”

Don't machines do the milking? There are plenty of family-owned dairies who have no problem hiring American farm workers and paying them a decent wage and benefits.
I imagine they have machines do it, but either the cows would have to be moved to the machines or the machines would have to be moved to the cows.

When you really think about it, it’s a bit terrifying to think someone living next to you or working with you is not at all who they say they are. They have no paper trail and you have no idea of their history? They could disappear as easily as they appeared.

That’s the most puzzling aspect of this case

JB could have fled the state or country and either used his given name or purchase new fake ID and LE would be none the wiser
I've passed through border patrol (Arizona to Mexico). If CR would have wanted to go back to Mexico and showed ID for John Budd he would have been "pulled aside." On one of my border trips a friend of mine, who was born in New Mexico, with legal ID, "looked" spanish... they pulled her to the side. She was there along time. It scared me.
This would have happened to CR...unless he had another way of "getting over" the border.

Really? In Minnesota they are going down the tubes,

When someone looking like CR comes to me with ID indicating he is John Budd.....like bells go off, whistles sound and flags are flying?!?! OMG! I expected something WAY closer to his real name!!!!:eek::eek:

JB makes a smoother transition into the community then CR. Names are really funny; in a nice way;
I couldn't believe there is an actor called 'Rip Torn'; and shocked by all the movies I've seen that he was in.

Does anyone have a link to the video interview Rick Rahn (sp?) gave a week or so ago? Not the first PC, but the one where he is sitting down, indoors? I've been searching the last 5 threads and can't find it, also can't find it on YT.

If she died before he had sex with her (that's how it sounds to me the way it's written here), it's not considered rape; it's just considered desecration/abuse of a corpse.

My thoughts:
She may have been stabbed, but had not died.

I think they steal them from live people and dead, they don’t actually apply for one, fake ones are drafted

'To apply for an original card, you must provide at least two documents to prove age, identity, and U.S. citizenship or current lawful, work-authorized immigration status. If you are not a U.S. citizen and do not have DHS work authorization, you must prove that you have a valid non-work reason for requesting a card.'

In the link I posted up thread, legilatures in both Nebraska and Iowa are considering changing that to mandatory because of Mollie's murder. The dairy owner has pledged to use e-Verify going forward.

If all the States in the US adopted the same procedures and practices in relation to SS numbers (it's written into law); that would be a great starting point.

Where is
Where is the information that the house or trailer are in IM's name? That is owned by the dairy farm.
The OP that quoted the Daily Mail got it wrong. DM cites that public records linked ex-GF to property located 6 minute drive from location Mollie was kidnapped from (i.e., 385th St). However, same could be said about me; a public record showing I lived there in 1977, and which would be meaningless to this case! More important - I don't believe CR's dairy farm housing/trailer was 6 minutes from 385th St.

I think he was advised to stay put; and what to do on the evening / night in question; and what to say to LE if caught.
