Tricia's recent post in the Shanann Watts thread with regard to Radar Online:

From the last thread. I wanted you all to read this. If you want to add your opinion Radar online and whether it should be considered a mainstream media source or not please email me at [email protected] or send me a private conversation.

PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT ON THIS THREAD ABOUT RADAR ONLINE. THIS THREAD IS ABOUT SHANANN AND HER KIDS.

Hi The Saint,

There are major differences between Radar online and Crime online.

Crimeonline.com is Nancy Grace's baby. This is what she started when she left Headline News. She has hired top-notch crime reporters. All Crimeonline.com does is true crime.
Radar online on the other hand reports on almost everything that is a current event. While many of Radar online's true crime stories make a great read it is extremely hard to find out if what is posted is the truth.

If you have any links to Radar stories you would like me to look at feel free to email me at [email protected]

I am happy to revisit our ruling on Radar online.com If their stories are becoming more credible and we won't end up with egg on our faces for linking to them then we can reconsider allowing their stories to be posted but not at this point. For now, Radar online is not something we can link to.

Please don't derail the thread with further discussion about it.

Thanks.

I just thought of Conrad Mcmasters. He was great. But Matlock only took on the truly innocent ones.
I'm thinking they're probably going to find evidence of her in his trunk. He might have his trunk fibers on her clothing. Possibly there could be hair of his on her clothing. He may have been careless with hiding his bloody clothes. If they find the earbud, there might be a partial fingerprint on it. I think they find something that proves he did it. They might be able to convince the jury that it wasn't premeditated and get his charges knocked down to Murder 2. Possibly he could get sent to a psych ward. MOO, there is no way this guy walks.

Hey all - I’m not really following anymore so I apologize if this has been covered, but did we ever establish what was going on with the reports of a Black SUV on the night Mollie disappeared?

Suspicious black SUV circled neighborhood on night Mollie Tibbetts vanished, neighbor says

Neighbor reported black suv circling the neighborhood early August between 11AM - 1AM. I've not seen it reported in MSN, but chatter was that the driver/suv was identified as somebody that lived near by, and said to be trying to foil a garage burglary that was rumored to take place that night. MOO

Edit to add: I thought the surveillance story might be true because the black suv news dropped off just a fast as it started...

YC has article that says black Malibu is not registered to CR or his alias.

Now wondering about that dusty Nissan?

LE knows all about the cars and who they are owned by and registered to. They both had plates, but maybe the Nissan had stolen plates? Could be why they towed it. No one said it was theirs?

IMO, IF CR's defense team is planning on using the blocked memory story, and as MsBetsy suggested, maybe use that to put forth reasonable doubt that someone else could have been involved in the actually murder itself, then isn't that yet another indication that the multiple sharp force trauma injuries were inflicted before the cornfield, since he came to at the intersection prior to entering the cornfield pull-off?

Once CR stated that his 'blocked memory'; it opens all sorts avenues to formulate a defense.

Exactly, which is another reason it makes me wonder if the killing wasn't before he turned into that cornfield pull-off. The murder is the blocked memory.

I can’t see his story serving up much of a defence. So he was running along side of Mollie and she asked him to leave her alone or she’d call police. Then he says he got mad. Full stop - he incriminated himself by admitting to getting mad at Mollie. Then he goes on to say he blocks his memory when he gets very upset.

So CR was mad and very upset at Mollie because she asked him to leave her alone but just then, out of the blue, someone happens to come by to murder her. This mystery person also interrupts CRs hostility and rage directed toward Mollie. No, I highly doubt any jury would buy that.

What ever was said or done; must of angered and outraged him to cause such anger (a normal person would just of brushed it off ) ; but not being legally in the US; he would have a different mind-set to a legal migrant; be on edge 24/7; we can only speculate;

I don't think his new lawyers would have picked up the case; if it wasn't for the 'blocked memory'; it gives them somewhere to take the case.

Apparently 'getting angry easily' is one of his known traits; I wonder if he's had any arguments at work that needed to be defused?

I didn't say it was a good story. :) But seriously, it's the story he gave, and my main issue with it isn't whether or not it's the truth, but rather it was there for a purpose and I don't think he would have used it only to "come to" again before the murder took place.

It makes me wonder if he wanted this mental block story in place so that he could then say, "sorry, I blocked those memories" if LE asked him about any other crimes they might connect him with.

Yeah if uncontrolled anger happens to be central to the case it wouldn’t be surprising if there were other things going on in his life that had ignited his fury.

But that’s not a justifiable defence to intentionally taking the life of an innocent person.

I agree; I was watching TV yesterday; this guys carried out horrendous crimes; to mitigate his actions; he talked about abuse in his childhood; he agreed his crimes were horrendous.

how do you get someone to pay child support if they are here illegally without getting them deported?

He’s not paying a cent for that child. I’d bet she’s getting welfare, food stamps, WIC, and child care assistance. What are these kids thinking.? Not one thought about college or job training. You can’t raise a family well on $13.00 per hour
