I thought she got stuck with the remaining payments?I think that was his cousin, who bought his car for him, on her credit, and he paid it off.
She did -- testified that she didn't satisfy the loan until 2020. And I don't even know if she had use of the vehicle or if it was still in custody.I thought she got stuck with the remaining payments?

Somebody with an affinity for chrome handles and mirrors...TY!
Yuk who would want it?
yuk
Oh, you are right. And the defense was making such a big deal about what a good boy he was--working so hard on the farm, paying child support and his car payments...oops, guess not.I thought she got stuck with the remaining payments?
Who/what part of testimony referenced her being killed in the trunk? I didn’t catch that. With injuries on her right & left side as well as back & front, I imagined it happening in stages. And probably at abduction site, then field. JmoDuring the expert's testimony today - I caught that they think Mollie was killed in the trunk. This makes sense to me in that it's a contained, small space, the right height for CBR to have good leverage and strike Mollie with fatal blows. If not already deceased, I think Mollie was unconscious when they reached the cornfield and CBR carried/dragged her to the corn. Mollie had no fight left in her at that time. MOO

The good news is that DJ "didn't recall" and frustrated Mr. Frese who had to let it go-- leaving the jury just as confused as we were!ok so another question...why was the Mr defense trying to make a big deal about the $200?

I think there probably was a large luminol showing that didn't translate well in the exhibits because of the dark trunk felt. That makes sense---except for the blood issue. Its really hard to understand why there isn't evidence of more blood. I suppose maybe there was a tarp or blanket? Or he was able to clean most of it? But I'd think luminal would pick top a bigger pattern, even if it was cleaned up well.
Something to do with DJ thinking it was one thing, but Mollie instead purchasing a mattress with it? I believe defense was trying to strengthen their assertion that the two were having problems & Mollie was planning to move in with friends instead of him. That’s the only thing I can imagine they could do with it- based on what was stated & earlier direction of questioning. All conjecture- no true clue as defense has been all over the map…ok so another question...why was the Mr defense trying to make a big deal about the $200?
The expert also said she was likely injured when she went into the trunk, didn't he? During his testimony about blood on the license plate holder? I wonder if CBR hurt her on the road, tried to put her in the trunk, but she fought him, so he killed her in his anger. Or she was injured but alive in the trunk and when he got to the cornfield, but she fought him when he opened it up. That might account for less blood in the trunk.I think there probably was a large luminol showing that didn't translate well in the exhibits because of the dark trunk felt.
I really don't recall hearing anything about the estimated volume of blood inside the trunk space which I assumed was protected/covered -- protecting the chrome goods.
YES!!! That was HUGE news today !!!OT: Whoa! Court TV interupts trial livestreaming to announce Daybell indictment!
Kind of like the "illegal immigrant " and I don't understand why these ear pods are in my lap and a girl's body in my trunk before I carry her into the cornfield and cover her up , kind of look ""We have heard, either at trial or otherwise, from plenty of people that conversations with him. Seems he spoke English pretty good.
Yes, I think he speaks English good. For interrogation purposes, LE would of course want an interpreter so he can't later say "I didn't understand." And is entitled to interpreters in court. But there is no doubt that the headphones he is wearing in court is just for show. Its for the "I'm a poor immigrant and I don't understand what is going on" look.
