Nicole Marie Poole Franklin, a 42-year-old Iowa woman deliberately run over a 14-year-old girl who was on her way to school with her car, just because the girl was Mexican. It was not the only crime she committed that day that was racially motivated. She also tried to run over a 12-year-,-old black boy, and was later arrested after having gone to a gas station where she called an employee and customers racial epithets, threw items at a clerk, and left without paying.

It's not the first time she's done crimes, in 2017 she stabbed a boyfriend in the chest, and later threatened another with a knife, as well as told her ex-husband that she was going to kill him during a child custody dispute. Why on earth was she still free, and able to try to kill a (or two) children? Let's hope her children are in a safe place.

thanks for posting this Frost. Your first article goes on and on in detailing this woman’s criminal history....it’s continuous and lengthy! This woman is extremely dangerous, to say the least, yet she was given so many breaks.....

Attempted murder trial set for woman charged in racially motivated hit-and-run crashes

Court Documents show Nicole Poole will go to trial April 19.

A psychiatric evaluation released in May of 2020 determined that Poole is competent to stand trial.

Poole is charged with two counts of attempted murder after police said she intentionally ran over a Hispanic girl and Black boy near Des Moines area schools in separate hit-and-run crashes on Dec. 9.

Iowa Woman Pleads Guilty to Hate Crimes After Intentionally Running Down 2 Children with Her Car

Nicole Poole Franklin, 43, pleaded guilty to two counts of violating the U.S. Hate Crime Act in a Des Moines federal court on Wednesday, two days after pleading guilty to two state counts of attempted murder, the Des Moines Register reported.

According to the Des Moines Register, Franklin reiterated a similar statement while in federal court on Wednesday, saying that she had struck the girl because she thought the child was "Mexican."

Franklin also said that she thought the boy was of Middle Eastern descent and was in the Islamic State terrorist group, the outlet reported.

In my opinion, this woman is a "dangerous offender" and will always be high risk.
