Thoeuy Leanna Kim, age 48 of Storm Lake walked away from a residence in the 100 block of Irving Street at approximately 5:50pm yesterday and had not returned. Family members report to police that Kim has a history of similar actions when she lived in California. She’s only resided in Storm Lake for a few weeks.
Kim did not take any personal property when she left and has no known access to a vehicle.
Kim was last seen wearing a black and blue striped beanie, black sweat pants, gray or black hoodie and a black sweater. She is described as being 5’1” tall weighing approximately 112 pounds.
Kim was last seen near the intersection of East 1st Street and Irving Street.
Storm Lake Police Officers and Fire Fighters conducted an area search for Kim into the early morning hours this morning with negative results.
Kim is described as being fluent in English and very outgoing.
