MOSCOW, Idaho - The president of the University of Idaho who guided his university through the trauma of four murdered students last fall has a family connection to the property where the murders took place.

C. Scott Green has given speeches, interviews and press release statements since the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen and Xana Kernodle in November 2022.

He’s led the university’s effort to demolish the home at 1122 King Road.

Can you hear people inside from the left side of the house, what noise does the heat make when coming on, how deep can you see inside the house from different vantage points, view from the back deck, the view from the kitchen to each bedroom on the second floor, view from the top of the stairs of the third floor down to the second floor, view from the bottom of the stairs up to the third-floor, the stairwell, the first floor stairwell how well could you hear, third floor stairwell same question? The jury will have to except the opinion of others or just never know.

After the demolition of the Idaho house where the murders happened - I have learned the debris was transported and buried at a solid processing facility. Officials wanted it immediately buried amid concerns people would attempt to take pieces or "souvenirs" of the house.

Father of Maddie Mogen speaks on grief, remembering his daughter

Madison (Maddie) Mogen has always been her dad's angel, before and after her tragic and untimely death.Ben Mogen has spent the last year with his family, talking about the monumental impact his daughter had on everyone and everything. He's also spent the last year trying his hardest to live his life the way she would want him to."Having her in my life got me through a lot of dark moments," he said. "She is my little angel. I wouldn't be here without her."One year after Maddie's death, Ben Mogen sat down at a Coeur d'Alene Starbucks to share all of the things he loved about his wonderful daughter. But, it wasn't just any Starbucks."The last time we ever went somewhere together was here," he explained, motioning to the small corner to his left. "There used to be a table right over here, and that's the one we sat at. Every time I drive by here, I think about just how much I wish she was still here with us."

Just learned that Judge Judge will NOT allow live-tweeting in the courtroom for all future #BryanKohberger hearings. In a change from previous orders, laptops and similar devices may be used for note-taking in the courtroom, but cannot be used "to email, chat, record, or transmit audio, images, or written accounts of the proceedings to platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, blogs, or other similar platforms or websites while inside of the courtroom," the new order states.

Breaking: Judge in #Idaho4 murder case orders prosecution to turn over "portion" of DNA records — known as investigative genetic genealogy (IGG) — to #BryanKohberger defense team. Prosecutors fought for months against doing so. Story coming momentarily, via @IdahoStatesman.

Latest in the #Idaho4 #BryanKohberger case. The next pretrial court hearing is scheduled for Jan. 26 in #Moscow, #Idaho.

It means #BryanKohberger’s defense will have access for the first time to some DNA records produced by FBI/labs and used to identify their client. Depending on what’s there, it could theoretically reveal practices they allege are unconstitutional to challenge the murder charges.
