Okay it sounds like there were a number of friends at the residence when the call was made from a roommate's phone and they are not sure who specifically made the call. That makes sense.

Sounds like LE said the 911 call was made from the surviving roommate's phone, but not who it was ?
Someone else could have used the roommates' phone.
Roommates are cleared, according to LE.

Discussed the several calls to J but I didn't catch what was said

Looking everywhere for killer. In town and out of town

Won't say if there was more than one killer. LE doesn't know

Victims found on 2nd and 3rd floor. Won't say more about that.

My theory that seems to have been debunked was what if K and M called J and left him messages. When he got his phone, what if he decided to go to K & M's house at 3am - 6am?

But he seems to say they investigated and "cleared" the late night calls.
