Nahh that mom looked like she wanted to die from pain. And DeOrr did cry at the end once it came around to hit him again that his son is missing.
Anguish. "Clear as vodka" to me.

ETA: Clear now?

At about 7.49 in the interview, where DK is talking about being with SAR until 3.45, Jessica says, "yes FROM". Meaning, IMO, from 3.45pm - which is probably when SAR arrived.

Yes, that makes sense - thank you! He says, "We were with search and rescue until, what, a quarter 'til four?" She says, "Yeah, from.." and then he kind of cuts her off and continues talking, but I think she did mean, from a quarter 'til four. That would mean that SAR arrived around 3:45 PM, which makes perfect sense - they did not mean they were with SAR until 3:45 AM. Thank you for noticing that - it's barely audible on my computer....

I think I'm likely the only person who missed this "unedited" (it's not technically unedited because it does have cuts, but whatevs) edition of the IR interview. But just in case, I came across this searching for news, so here it is:

Well, this is what I missed the first time around. The reporter asked if DeOrr was with IR and GGP when DK and JM went off on their trek and IR said yes. So, he wasn't down the creek fishing? He was with GGP and DeOrr? Is that why he asked the reporter if he had talked to GGP yet?

Clear as mud? You mean you *don't* see anguish?
I think she meant clear as day, or clear as something clearer. Imo, Bessie just used the wrong idiom. She's probably too busy having to moderate, sometimes babysit, all of us. Glad you said something so she had a chance to explain. She really does see pure anguish.[emoji9]
How about, "clear as vodka"?

Thank you, thank you!
I hate when ppl talk over others and I think I was paying more attention to him doing that, then hearing what she said. Then when it was typed here, without her interjection, I forgot she corrected him.
That was the only thing that seemed off with the parents.
Following another case and one guy messes up details so bad, we've termed his speak as "word-salad". Guess I was just trying to call DK out based on that.

So, NOW what?

The anguish of the parents is palpable. They "know" their baby is gone forever. In the woods? in the water? abducted? Accidental demise? I would imagine that the pain would be obvious no matter what the scenario. It is the pain of loss. JMO

So, what is everyone's best guess? It bothers me that the sheriff pretty much says the baby isn't up there (in the water, woods etc) and he doesnt think he was abducted.

Maybe the baby was abducted..mom's intuition and all of that..People post things on SM when they are going on a trip, for example. Maybe some crazy saw that or saw them in or around the store in Leadore? Maybe the baby never made it back from the store.. maybe there is someone with a grudge against the other POI ( not the parents) and they were set up.. The parents are being reinterviewed..why? To jog their memories? To look for inconsistencies? Maybe the baby never went to the store? Why did the parents and baby sleep in the truck that first night? Inside? In the bed of the truck looking at the stars? Supposedly, GGP slept in his camper and IR in a tent. I think i read that here..JMO

Abduction or foul play seem to be the obvious answers.. but LE doesnt seem willing to marry any theory..MOO

Anything i write is just my opinion.

<modsnip>

I was wondering if JM and DK even had a tent. I also wonder why they didn't sleep with GGP in his camper which would have been a lot more comfortable than the truck I'd think. Not sure what type of camper he had.

I believe it was said that they slept in the back of GGP's Suburban, which would be a fairly comfortable place to sleep. They planned to set their tent up the next day. I see nothing odd or suspicious about that, since they arrived at the campsite as it was getting dark.

Thanks! I agree.. i was picturing the back of a pick-up truck.. i appreciate the clarification.

My strongest theories? Known abductor, accident, or foul play.

Though as I stated the other day, NOTHING will surprise me, except for abduction by a stranger.

We have:

SB convinced there was no abduction.
PI Vilt stating GGP was neglectful and making public that items of his were taken by the FBI.
Neither of the above believe IR had anything to do with it.
Parents haven't even acknowledged IR even exists to my knowledge, never mind questioning his "shady" background.

Then there is the latest talk of someone who hates the parents so much they took Deorr. I don't know where this is coming from but I haven't seen or heard anything from LE or the family that makes me think this is a possibility.

Unless all four POI's have been able to keep this quiet for 3 months (through fear for example) and from LE.
