She was issued a misdemeanor citation and later arraigned. It does not appear to me that she was ever in jail because if they had held her in jail, the judge would have set her bail at the arraignment. There would be record of the bail amount and whether it was posted and the date she was released. I could be wrong, but I don't see anything that shows she was actually booked into (or out of) jail... MOO

That is interesting. I'll double check with the person who brought this to my attention. I will say that this person is more knowledgable about the routines of the legal system and I don't think they would exaggerate. It is possible I misunderstood. Thanks!

Now that I saw Deorr's moms fb page, I am wondering if 2 yr olds can get shaken baby syndrome. I'm sure they can right? That would be a definite red flag for child abuse right there. I mean you can't deny that one, can't make it out to be an accident. Since she is sympathetic to that group it has me saying HMMM

Maybe the reason they arived late Thursday night was so they could play it off that DeOrr was sleeping. Next morning go to the store and get rid of him. Go back and go right to IR by the creek and say DeOrr is with ggp then go back and ask where DeOrr is and convince ggp he was suppose to be watching him.
It would explain no scent.

I'm so sad for DeOrr. I wanted so bad to believe his parents had nothing to do with this.

It was 63 degrees that day..I'm guessing that was the high for the day. I looked here
http://www.friendlyforecast.com/usa...t is something that could have been withheld.

Why on earth did it take LE this long to figure it out? Way to light a fire underneath them Klein!! No sham going on with Klein. He called it right on the money. I think some people owe him an apology.

Finally, we can talk about the elephant in the room and how it got there. DeOrr Kunz Sr. and Jessica Mitchell have been at the top of my list from Day One and I never backed down from my assertion they knew all along what happened to little DeOrr Jr. They should have been named suspects months ago (like the first couple of days, imo). One reason being other family, friends, and neighbors should have been alerted to the possibility they were involved. They can now look back at what led up to his disappearance and for anything telling that has happened since he went missing, but it would have been better if they could have done that while it was still fresh in their minds.

So here we are with two parents for whatever reason likely killed their beautiful son and tried to pass it off as a runaway situation. It is despicable they put this on GGPA making it seem he was responsible for the disappearance (unless he was a willing participant to cover up whatever they did to DeOrr Jr and same goes for IR).

Maybe now LE can get somewhere with this case and little DeOrr Jr. can be found. He deserves to be given a proper burial by the family members who truly love him.

I saw that on her page too. Set off some alarm bells for me, of sure.

I think that a toddler probably could be shaken violently enough to do harm. But I don't know. Maybe not.

BBM:

I'll never apologize for my very strong reaction to feeling Klein is a sham. I still feel that way and think that Sheriff Bowerman and the FBI found the information allowing Sheriff Bowerman to name the parents as suspects.

Wouldn't there be evidence in the vehicle if that is what had happened? I don't want to be crass or disrespectful to him but I believe bodily fluids and scent would be apparent in the car seat and upholstery of the vehicle. Since it has been reported repeatedly that the vehicles were searched I don't think it would've been overlooked. Even if the car seat itself had been disposed of the absence of it would raise questions. I suppose that is something that could have been withheld.

I agree with you, I think it is not what happened and that it would have been found out about with bodily fluids etc as you say. I do not believe it is the COD. I am starting to lean toward they shook him and caused him irreparable damage as the moms fb page set off the red flag for me..like there it is, thats what happened, something that can't be covered up easily.

I've been pondering the late Thursday arrival and the was he/wasn't he ever actually at the Friday campsite. Makes me wonder whether the poor baby was hidden in another of the park (outside what one might consider a "typical" search area for a wandering two year old). JMO

I'm not sure how I feel about Klein, but I do wonder if his public announcements have forced LE to make statements prematurely. Can you imagine all of the people breathing down LE's neck in this case?

Hot car death was actually my first thought, I posted about that yesterday, as to how it would fulfill the how/why statements.
What body fluids would you expect to find? I'd assume he was wearing a diaper that would catch urine/feces.

I wonder when was the LAST time someone saw Deorr? What if he died days before this trip and his Dad buried him somewhere far far away -- as in .. somewhere on his trucking route???

Geez have the parents been charged, tried and convicted in the last four hours? From the comments here it sure would seem that way...

It also makes me think that the dad knew where they did and didn't have cell coverage...so they knew where they were being pinged and not being pinged.
