Doesn't dislocation hurt? IDK.
Sure, but after a while the pain would not be as acute if left untreated.
No one has to agree with me and I am not asking them to. It is just my own observation.

I was thinking this also. I'm obviously not sure what he ment but this is a possibility for sure. And I'm sorry but IR raised red flags with me.So they left him at the campsite with GGP and IR while they went to the store and who knows where. That's how it sounds anyway. Is that what your getting from this?
I agree. I didn't see anyone holding her up.This is the interview people were saying it looks like they are physically "holding her up?" Yeah...I'm just not seeing that. Just looks like she's sitting with her head down. Sure, he's holding onto her arm. But not holding her up. She's sniffing a lot and seems upset, yes. But no matter what happened...her child is gone, so that's expected. Is she crying because he wandered off and went missing or is she crying because she or her fiance caused him to go missing? Sadly, only a few people know the answer to that.

“In my professional opinion, both of you lied and misrepresented true facts that could solve the mystery of your missing son.” He continues to say, “I believe that the searches will all be nonproductive. The searches are only used by you to cover a possible crime that one or both of you may have committed.” He suggests that the parents fully cooperate with the Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office and tell the truth. “I do not appreciate the fact that one or both of you are spreading rumors that you paid me. I also feel that you are exploiting the public for financial gain.”

It does look distorted in photo, although I have experienced shoulder dislocation twice and there is no way on gods green earth I would have stopped screaming long enough to pose for a picture. I also remember a friend of mine growing up who experienced it as well and she howled long and hard until her dad "popped" it back in place. Theses are only my experiences with dislocation so I could be wrong on how it feels to others.Or on purpose.
If hot-car death, the possibilities are:
* pure accident...but then why cover up?
* ongoing parenting practice - they use the car as a babysitter and know it's wrong
* angry/frustrated with him and put him in the car to "shut him up" or something like that, perhaps even after hurting him
"The searches are only used by you to cover a possible crime that one or both of you may have committed.”
This is interesting. I feel like it's significant -- but I'm not sure to what.
I wonder why he didn't announce it publically at the time, if he was so sure...
