And Klein said his new client does not want him speaking to the media and yet here he is, speaking to the media again.

I'm curious to see how much interest Klein continues to have in DeOrr's case now that he can't use it to promote himself in the media any longer. imo.

Exactly. We forget sometimes that just because WSers know more than the average person on the street about this case, doesn't mean we know everything.
Also, we try to take a short cut from evidence to arrest. We don't understand why, since there is evidence of this and that, the supsects haven't been arrested.
But there are no shortcuts, not for LE and prosecuting attorney who are thinking not just about charges, but who have to think ahead to trial. They have to do a incredible job of multi-tasking: finding evidence and trying to bring the baby home; while at the same time projecting into the future and thinking of what the defense attorneys will pick apart.
I think they have a lot of their ducks in a row; but that there are still a few stragglers lagging behind that they need to herd into line.
We are impatient; but LE can't afford to be.

I so agree. It drives me insane when people say (not here on websleuths--anywhere!) the parents would be in jail right now if LE had evidence DeOrr is dead. Or JM would be in jail if she said she knows where the body is. (This is seeming to be something DK's new attorney likes to put out there!)

If or when they are charged each should have their own attorney. And yes attorney client privilege remains. Browning can't reveal anything he learned from either of them without their permission.

That's what I thought. It would make sense for him to drop both in that case.

One of the questions Chelsea posted on her FB page to be asked to Browning was:

Q: The attorney mentioned that Jessica Mitchell was fired from her job based upon what Klein had said. Does he have an actual statement from her employer stating that is why? Also where he is not her official attorney how is able to do anything on her behalf?

I just listened to Brownings responses, and he didn't answer that question! I wonder why he chose not to answer that one?

Did anyone else hear an answer to that that I may have missed since I listened to that section?

Something about being suspended from work until the matter of her missing child is cleared up. So, not really fired as given leave.

Agree. She would have been booked on obstruction of justice charges if she actually did say that.

So Klein is probably going off the inadmissible polygraph where it could have shown that she was not being truthful about the knowing of his whereabouts.

But you can not arrest any one these days for failing 4 and 9 separate polygraphs. So Klein could be looking at defamation for leaking polygraph results of specific questions to the media. Jmo.

I am sure you have to sign something before taking a voluntary polygraph; Where it should state that it's for office use only and will not be held against you. Jmo

Klein says gpa failed the polygraph too. And that JM confessed to a female investigator as well as to someone with the sheriff's department that she knows where DeOrr's body is.

The only other new news I caught is that Klein said a witness claims to have seen DeOrr at 6 PM the night before the day he disappeared, so I am assuming that means Thurs 6 PM. (I betcha some people are gonna start thinking about the rumor that the clerk said she saw 6 PM filthy bawling boy at the Stage Stop!)

And also that Browning said that the family would be happy to get back the $20k in donations that went to fund Klein so that they can hire a different PI. (The problem is that every investigation entity that touches this case determines the parents are lying. But I guess the family is thinking there's gotta be someone out there who will disagree with LE/FBI and will instead exonerate the parents.

SB' only comment was for the parents to come forward. That says a lot.

IIRC, Vilt offered his services to VK/JM for free. IDK, maybe someone else does...

Donations? They've been asking for donations since DeOrr disappeared, and I have yet to see that any of it was spent on searching for him (with the exception of the money that we know went to Klein).

I don't think the above are on their backs 24/7. I'm pretty sure the majority of the interviewing is done by now. LE and FBI would be concentrating on evidence collected so far and putting their thoughts together about how to handle all of this with or without a body. Klein certainly isn't going to be approaching them any more. IMO, SM is the thing that's on their backs and they can't shake it and will never be able to. If the day comes that they are found innocent, they will forever be cast in the same light that Casey, OJ and the Ramseys are to some. I don't think they will turn against each other.

But, still, at one point they WERE all over them, even if they've slowed it down a bit. Those two are by no means resting on their laurels. And the scrutiny on them since Klein's disclosure of JM's admission and the lie detector fails, etc. , must be really intense now. Yes, remember the hordes of people parked on the Anthony's lawn demanding answers? People act very differently when a small child is involved. They get very emotional and those people at the Anthony's were half crazed with anger. So, JM & VDK probably aren't too popular right now. The minute the Lemhi sheriff said "I believe they know where he is absolutely.", I'm sure all hell broke loose in the community. I think it will be a cold day in hell when they see the light at the end of the tunnel they dug themselves into.

I totally think it was forced upon them and their worst fears have been realized. Now they can't just say it's local LE and the Feds who have have wrongly determined that the parents know where their son is; it's every investigative entity (local federal and private) that looks into it!

It would be pretty hard for them to claim all investigators on the case from these different areas have all respectively reached the wrong conclusion, or have mishandled the case, or are crooked, lazy or lying.

Then I wonder if LE felt it was hearsay pertaining to what she supposedly stated to his female investigator.

I do the same thing when Nancy Grace says she has bombshell evidence as well. Lol.

How exactly would you like the family to prove to you how the money was spent? Klein said he was paid the $20,000 and we know the family spent time searching. Do you think maybe the money was used to buy gas, food, supplies, and so on for volunteer searchers? I don't believe this was a money making scheme for them.
