Probably the child seat would have been strapped onto of one of the sideways facing jump seats? The diesel inlet is just forward of the driver side rear wheel arch.

But then wouldn't he have seen Deorr from a side profile view? When a child is strapped into a toddler car seat I don't understand how someone could see the "back" of their head?

It's just semantics anyways and has no bearing on the case, but I don't see how it could be possible. JMO

There is a pic of little Deorr seen in his car seat (of course I don't know in which car exactly). He is wearing a turquoise blue t-shirt and has his right index finger between his lips.
(Recently I can't upload pics to the thread. Does anyone have an advice, please? TYIA)

Whats a sideways facing jump seat? Toddler car seats face forward right? IF he was even in one. No solid evidence to that fact. IMO in your audio track posted Sheriff Bowerman was just saying some unnamed someone may or may not have seen the top of a babies head in a black truck. Nothing solid IMO and I do not hear him saying its solid either.

Apparition isn't questioning the source. The question is how reliable is some random guy thinking they saw the back of a head, or a store clerk remembering one child from some time either a Thursday or Friday?

And on that note- a child secured in a car seat wouldn't have the back of their head easily visible to be seen by someone pumping gas... hmm... I question that and want to hear a deeper explanation on that one. If it were from behind the truck he is more likely to be seeing the top.of the car seat itself. My 3 year old is quite tall and her head can't be seen from my rear window, but the top of her seat can be.

I want to know when for sure was the last time a non family member can say they definitly had eyes on Deorr and/or spoke to him.

The stories and evidence are steering this case in the direction it's going, not us, we are just following along.

Plain and simple- if this child wandered off and was still out there the parents would have been there searching for the past 15 months, would have accepted the national media attention offered, and accepted the reward offered. They would have cooperated fully and encouraged a thorough investigation in order to find their son.
Not obstructed the investigation with ever changing stories.

Also, IIRC JM said that little Deorr was running around the store aisles looking at candy and "flirting" with the store clerk. Don't have time to find the link but please correct me if I'm wrong, it's just from what I remember. If that happened as JM claimed the store clerk would have no problem remembering Deorr and would also know without a doubt that he was a boy.

This picture appears to just be him on a vehicle seat. This is not a toddler car seat. He has no seat belt On and looks like he's on his knees with his body facing sideways or backwards.

Well I am starting to get confused, Am I looking at auto trader or a thread about a missing (presumed deceased) toddler?

It is great to know all about car seats and the various trim levels available in 93 Dodges, but I am not sure how this relates to the subject at hand. If we are at a dead end about what to talk about in regards to Deorr perhaps we can list our favorite lie from the parents? My favorite one is how they have changed the story about if GGP knew he was watching Deorr or if Deorr just kinda decided himself to stay with GGP.

Yep Apparition... Looks like we are grasping at Straws...

My favourite lie is how they used the fact his blanket and cup were left behind as their theory that he didn't wander away and must have been abducted... even though in Klein's video Jessica admits to putting this items into vehicles. I also believe either she or Vernal once stated that Vernal was the one who put the items in the vehicles.

My second favourite lie is that Vernal wasn't there when jessica called 911.

Although when I say my "favourite" lie... it's not my "favourite", I hate the lies. But to me those are the biggest OMG moments.

This refers to the gas station attendant possibly being able to see the back of Deorr's head in the truck. The side-facing rear seats make that statement plausible.

It's interesting how they are all in BRIGHT colors and dressed the baby in camouflage clothing for a camping trip. (OK...supposed camping trip).

Hindsight is such a wonderful gift, wouldn't you agree?

Thank you, I think. I kinda figured out where that was going, my issue is that I don't put much weight into the gas station attendant. The guy said he MIGHT have seen the back of a kids head in a truck. How many people drive trucks up in God's country Idaho? Why would a gas station attendant have any strong recollection one way or the other of a head he might have seen? If he said "oh yeah I remember that kid he was talking to me and waving through the window" I would put much more stock in that ALLEGED sighting. As it stands nope, I'm still waiting for someone who is not blood family to tell me when the child was last seen alive and well. Until such time I am going with the group think answer, Deorr was never alive on the camping trip.

This is one area I give them a pass on. We camp with our kids and prior to DeOrr's disappearance we didn't necessarily dress them in bright colors for camping. We didn't put them in camo...but there wasn't a conscious effort to make sure they were in bright, visible clothes (there is now)
