I've never heard of an officer being present during deliberations. Hopefully he means accessable outside of the jury room door?

When Nate says “white noise is being played in the courtroom” during a sidebar, what does that mean? I’m “picturing” static or something but thinking that would be very grating on the nerves for the spectators. So what does it mean?

They must have noise cancelling white noise things in the court room. I have them in my unit at work and it helps to reduce the extraneous noise. The ones we have do not make a sound that we can hear.
A company came in and installed them so it's more than just a machine sitting on a desk.

I believe it was a combination of 2 policies. An independent policy and one though her employer.

Wondering now why the prosecution did not bring in "cult experts"? Did they not feel it necessary? I think they did a decent job with all the people/venues involved, and hopefully the Closing kicks it out of the park.

Maybe trying to detract from the cult theory, because that could make it seem brainwashed and they want her to be accountable she made the choices, not being brainwashed.
