Defense haven’t put on a case but now they want to pin it on Chad in a closing statement?!
Forgetting an important part of this which is… Chad’s CHILDREN didn’t end up dead, burned, bound, and buried.
Chad’s wife Tammy was the last to be killed, clearly Lori was so eager to get rid of her ‘baggage’ that she needed her ‘problems’ taken care of first.
Without Lori, none of this would have happened, I can imagine Chad would have eventually killed Tammy even if he hadn’t met Lori though. I think Lori sped up the process by getting on at him about how she felt lonely and neglected when he was with Tammy. In that instance IMO the texts show that they both manipulated each other to get what they wanted. He was begging her to respond, she gave him the silent treatment because he wouldn’t leave his wife for her. He then manipulated her by sending those texts about her ‘no longer having protection’ because she wouldn’t speak to him.
But she was the one desperate for JJ to reach ‘zero’ so she could be rid of him. She was the one who stole the money and continued to claim it after she knew her children were dead. She was the one who had a fit over Charles’ life insurance being changed. She was the one who orchestrated all of this whether she physically killed them or not, she gave the nod to having her own kids murdered.
Don’t get me wrong Chad is just as evil, twisted, manipulative, egotistical and calculating. But Chad didn’t force Lori to hand her kids over to be murdered.
