Prior where is the overtcact
It would have to be the body of a racoon with a single shot through it's head, heart or other immediately lethal location.

His message bothers me.
"Debris limbs," It's overblown.
Its bad writing not text language. CD enjoyed being a gravedigger, the borrowed sorrow and profound nature of burying people.
I think that shows that feeling in the text.

Both Chad and Lori will be bound over. if nothing else, they are both very obviously guilty of obstruction.
But we know it was murder.

I agree with Prior about conspiracy. There has been no evidence that places Chad at the property at the relevant times.
Well, he lives there and would have to be aware of what went on relative to his property. IMO

Since the judge said he would review the C/L phone call, and he only needs a few minutes, as he says, to come to a determination, I’m assuming he listened to it during the lengthy recess earlier...?
Yes, I would think he has listened to it at break. Judge Eddins seems to run a smooth courtroom.

Hopefully he was able to hear it in its entirety.

His text to Tammy places him on the property

But also, this is not required for conspiracy?
Yes, I suppose it does. I would have preferred ping data (?) to actually place him there, like they did wit Alex. Lets hope the evidence is put together better for trial.

He turned off his phone?
The state cannot conceal exculpatory evidence such as his phone was elsewhere.

Given the lack of murder charges to date, I do wonder if it really was Cox who murdered Charles and the kids.

Clearly LV and CD are accessories

TD is a different story

I am not sure if Lori calls Chad every morning but I find it very odd and strange that she called Chad at that exact moment he was sitting in his car the morning of the search.

I think she saw a newsclip on the communal TV. And then made the call. JMO

According to his own texts to Tammy, he was also home that morning when Alex's phone pinged on his property, so he could not have missed Alex.

So Prior's argument is what? That someone else could have sneaked onto the Daybell property sometime on those days and buried the bodies without Chad's knowledge?
And all that while Chad, in his own words in his text to his wife, is on that property "burning limbs" before the storms come in and soak them and "shooting a raccoon" that was on his fence.

You'd think Chad might have noticed.

Conspiracy is a mutual understanding.
Prior inflating the bar for conspiracy for obvious reasons.

This is a bit of a tactical mystery at this stage.

They are witnesses against themselves.

I think he went through the motions because he knows his client is screwed.
