Just watched Profiling Evil YouTube channel. New video up with Dr Amy Salermo, discussing deaths and causes for Joe Ryan, Charles Vallow and Tammy Daybell and Alex Cox. Was just posted this afternoon. Very good information!

I’m going to report my post to the Mods to ask if Profiling Evil is accepted here to post. I know it can be posted at the Suzanne Morphew thread. You guys will learn a lot from it.
Listening to it now.
WOW !!!! Just WOW !!!

It’s not known. Just speculation because of his obsession with death.

The book he wrote about beyond the grave or something of that nature, the interview he gave to local news about being a grave digger (sexton) and posing in front of a tombstone with his book.

Additionally, Redvines (poster here) has known him for years. Redvines also said he is a master manipulator and serial killer.
I am not @Redvines86 however, she did NOT insinuate to my knowledge that CD ever killed before.
A serial killer is defined as someone who murders 3 or more people.
I think Redvines was counting Tammy, Tylee and JJ only.
No mention of any previous murders, IMO

Means calls the letter sent to local leaders "alarming and concerning"

Lori Vallow Daybell’s attorney issues response to LDS First Presidency letter

Someone said yesterday or today there are other high profile cases going on right now involving LDS members.

My concern (if you can call it that) is the secrecy surrounding certain aspects of LDS such as temples. We know Chad and Lori are rumored to have been secretly sealed somewhere or other.

I dunno it will impact their cases one way or the other. But I sure have a personal issue with a church telling members to forego their civic duties. Means sure had a fit. Jmo

Can we discuss this now? I will ask Sillybilly. Because it sounds to me, in reading this article, that the church wants to silence its members from testifying against Chad Daybell or Lori Daybell. That makes me sick and it is wrong. Why else put out his letter at this very time? The church knows this case is getting attention around the world. If folks in the community know something, they should be able to testify and/or answer a subpoena. This is something I questioned from the beginning. I hoped I was wrong. Now it is actually in writing. Sheesh!

It sounds like they don't want LDS members pro and anti being questioned about the character and people and doctrine. Prior was setting this up at the prelim.

Also....Lori has high level pro-character witnesses???

Well, here we go. Lori's got some bishop involved. I bet they want him to testify to her character and personality. IMOO

A person who is a social acquaintance could hardly testify to what type of character or personality a person has at home, behind closed doors.

As for LVD's "character and personality", the numerous marriages are noted, with the divorces. Not that is indicative of any mental illness or disorder. But it is a few standard deviations above the norm.

Sooo-- perhaps it was NOT Lori's attorney that got LDS involved as mentioned above.
If Means is fighting it then obviously, it was not his or LVD doing.
Perhaps CD and his attorney ???

So, it looks like none of the members are supposed to be cooperating. That would include MP, IP, MG, DW, JM, BB, this bishop, most of AVOW and DP who eventually came forward and offering to help.

All of these people have just been told to stand down and not testify against LVD and CD essentially, and if they do so they are in direct contradiction with their leadership. This means that Parrett should never have cooperated. There may be a few people who would testify in defense of the accused, but most of the people involved are deep into it now and are actively being investigated or are witnesses. So while MM may be "upset" the fact is this effectively works to increase the pressure to not cooperate that was actively causing these overlapping groups to hide information to begin with. The LDS has actively made a stake against the justice system and the FBI. On the day that CD was set to go to trial. The complaints about this from MM are ... distraction. This is in fact the main leadership coming down not subtly to aid CD and the overlapping cult groups. With this, there is a chance that CD and LVD would never have been able to be prosecuted. This is a statement the main leadership would prefer to let children be murdered rather than have adult members cooperate with LE.

Yeah, I think there is a problem.

Ok fine. I can’t go back and look up the post but Redvines did say he was a serial killer in her opinion because when you kill three or more people you are a serial killer. All I got wrong was that maybe he had not killed before. I don’t know that either but I can give my opinion.

It is still my opinion only that he may have killed before and felt very comfortable burying someone in one of the graveyards where he was a sexton. So how about we leave Redvines out of this? She and I were having the conversation on a previous thread.

It’s just such a shame. Very good people would want to do the right thing. And how would this affect the seating of twelve jurors? Are they supposed to say they cannot be a juror and judge another LDS member? This is all very confusing. I think the President of the church and those signing this letter should be the ones to STAND DOWN.

So, I wonder.. if a potential juror is LDS, will they be excused ??
That takes most of Rexburg and Madison county out of the loop.
Then they would have to go elsewhere for jury/court trial.

That's not a fact, it was just a conjecture on my part. She has a right to visits from clergy, I assume, and there are probably church services in jail. Means stated before that she is a "model prisoner".

Means letter states the entire jury pool and witness could be effected.

It is so difficult to discuss this case without discussing the LDS church.

I think this should directly challenge that stance. The LDS leadership has issued information that directly interferes with this case in a way that cannot be construed otherwise. If the people involved in this case follow this, the case would never have gone forward possibly and it may torch the case now.

My list includes:
the gun failure during attack on Tammy
Colby's feeling that it wasn't Tylee on text
<modsnip: at member request due to unverified information>
The COVID issue keeping everything televised
<modsnip: at member request due to unverified information>
The FARO scanner and dogs that found the bodies

And a million other things I can't share yet.
Thank you, thank you! You are greatly appreciated for all that you do and staying the course.

It seems pretty clear that they've specifically said for members to not cooperate by saying they should consult with them first so they can be told not to. I don't see how that can be misconstrued.

A while back, someone posted that DA Woods is a former bishop. I would love his take on the LDS letter.

Talk about "jury nullification". This is absolute insanity.
