However, stress and axiety can definitely increase your blood pressure and undermine your health thru lack of sleep and being too sedentary. It's thought that an embolism is often caused when someone at risk sits for too long, without getting up and walking around (WSers take note). He may have recently driven back from Vegas and been sitting around in ZP's house.
Truckers at risk for deep vein thrombosis

Most importantly, IMO, he was afraid to go to a doctor or the hospital or call 911 when he experienced the symptoms of shortness of breath, chest pain and so on, that ZP reported he'd had.

He may have confused these symptoms with the panic he was experiencing, or he might have been afraid police would track him down if he tried to get help.

MOO

Yes, do. I take this rule seriously — I’m a lawnmower engine (two strokes) and I KNOW.

Cripes, I wouldn't want to do that. I wouldn't be able to sleep a wink, thinking of everything that had happened there.
My chance to change "awe" in the post you're commenting on to "we." Thanks. I thought the same thing when I heard this. But maybe they didn't have an option, financially. Too bad we can't sleuth the Daybell children to learn more. I'm so sad for them. What a rotten hand they were dealt when they got CD for a father.

I think we have to look at evidence that isn’t dependent on what Lori or Z claimed. I’m not sure I believe a word that came out of either of their mouths.

If remove what they said, there’s no indication Alex felt sick for days. There’s no evidence he didn’t want to go to a Dr. For all we know he could have told Z he wanted to see a doctor and she told him she’d made an appointment. Dr wrote a prescription and she was going to the drugstore to get it. Heck, she could have told him she called an ambulance. I wonder if Alex had his phone near him the whole time or if it had been hidden and when Z got back she put it near him again.

Yeah, well, Chad told everyone Tammy hadn't felt well for a few weeks and wouldn't go to a doctor; so we know what this REALLY means to those people. Possible that MBP was in on the conspiracy and got her talking orders from Chad.

Initially, the Daybell kids supported their father since it was probably the natural thing to do, that is, until the bodies were found. They did nothing to deserve getting caught up in this mess. In a small town, they must feel huge embarrassment and I don't blame them one bit for laying low. BTW, it speaks volumes that they were not at their father's hearings.

I used to think of CD as nothing but a con man but now I think he's a religious whack job, believing in weird stuff, speaking at preparation gatherings and trying to make a living by selling his books. I hadn't seen or heard of anything that would lead me to believe he was bad or abusive to his wife or kids. It's been said that he wasn't perfect as a husband but despite that, he had always been fairly harmless.

Then the manipulative, lying, abusive, evil and gold-digging LV came into the picture along with her clan. Why he fell for her is anyone's guess but maybe he got caught up in a mid-life crisis with the wrong person and things went real, real bad from there. Whatever it was, sadly for TD and her kids, things went down in a ball of flames with CD destroying both himself and his family. CD made a dumb move and he will pay the price. Unfortunately, his kids will also pay the price.

So glad to know you made it through. A stroke is a very scary thing. So glad you recovered.

He did more than make a bad move. He can never be excused for knowing dead children were buried in his backyard while he romances their mother and killed his own wife. Yes LVD is evil. So is he!

I hear you, but, and it’s a big but, to fall for someone pretty and attentive when you are married is one thing, but to then murder, or partake in burying, a minivan full of people (TD, 2 kids) is not just falling under a siren’s spell. There is something extremely criminal and evil about his nature to go forward with that. Remember he foretold Tammy’s death before LV entered his life.

I am fascinated by the relationship between CD and LVD. What did they have in common? Why would LVD consider CD after CV? Did LVD think CD was wealthier than CV? And she got to Idaho, with nothing but two kids, and their Social Security checks. Realizing that CD was it.

What did they talk about? Do they quote scriptures to each other? Obviously, they don't talk about LVD's kids. Has the infatuation worn off, now that they are in separate jails?

What a strange couple. A grave digger and a gold digger.

Yes, there's no question about CD and LV but I was attempting to respond to the post about CD's children, who had nothing to do with any of this. I just got a little caried away, and perhaps a bit too wordy about the perps. It's hard not to.

All our mental gymnastics has so little to do with answering questions.
These people PROBABLY killed several people to get “ahead“ in life. So who cares why? If they killed? Off with their heads. No excuses.
I’d rather stay where I am at the present time. Safe from the gas chamber. And just living a normal life. Nothing exciting. Nothing scary. Playing with my dogs, waiting for grandkids. Blah. But I’ll take it.

I bet that CD thinks about his life with Tammy, and wishes that meeting up with LVD was just a bad dream.

Two strokes — yikes! Glad you made it. What you mentioned is called deep vein thrombosis, typically forming in the leg. It can break off and drift up into the heart, brain or a lung. In the lung, it’s called a pulmonary embolism (PE). I had massive bilateral (that means in both lungs) PE about five years ago. My only symptom was increasing shortness of breath over roughly a month. If I hadn’t finally called 911, thinking I was having a heart attack, there would be moss on my gravestone now. During treatment, I discovered I have a genetic predisposition to form blood clots, so it isn’t only caused by a sedentary lifestyle in all cases, but that sure doesn’t help! An IVC filter adds protection, and there are anticoagulant medicines. Presumably, AlC wasn’t taking any before he died. I understand the type of PE he had was different in some way that could point to poisoning. True? I’ll have to poke around to get a refresher on that.

Well put! Well, they got the graves, but I think the gold is going to be in short supply in their future.

When did that happen?
The Archangel told them the white camps had been moved to Hawaii just in time for them to get a good price on their tickets.

“Recovery” from two strokes is not the same thing as “I’m the man I was before them!” Not even close. But thank you for the kind thoughts.
Folks, keep your BP down, follow the rules if you have diabetes, exercise and take that daily aspirin if your Dr says to do so. Do as I say, not as I did.

From one survivor to another, DONT LETS HAVE THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!
And thanks for the kind word.
