For nearly a year, a documentary crew has been following Larry and Kay Woodcock. “Doomsday: The Missing Children” is a three-hour program that will premiere Dec. 20 at 10/9c on Investigation Discovery.

I don’t have cable. Does anyone know if this is a streaming or YouTube channel?

also I hate how long these cases take. In other cases where kids survived, kids are taken out of homes for most of a year, one parent bails out to get them back, and it’s another year before trial where parents may or may not lose them again. Meanwhile stable relatives exist. Ugh.

And the next hearing for Fremont County charges is CD's on 1/6/21 & then both of them on 6/2/21, unless there is one earlier?

Chad Daybell’s attorney John Prior files memorandum to support change of venue. Prior says fair and impartial trial can’t be had in Fremont, Madison or Bonneville Counties in Idaho. His argument mentions recording of Lori Vallow justifying right to harm her third husband Joseph Ryan. Daybell requests all articles and media coverage submitted to court ahead of this memorandum be admitted in its entirety to support motion to change venue. Hearing is on 1/6/21.

Maybe you can watch it after the fact on the website. It seems to have a some episodes on the website. I am not familiar with the channel.

The good news if there is any is that those two are sitting in jail while it gets drug out.
Jailhouse justice may catch up to them before any trial takes place.

I have DISH and was just checking to make sure I have the ID channel, which I do not.

There hasn't been much in the news lately on this case, so I am looking forward to seeing this one.

Why does Tammy's autopsy have anything to do with the charges against Lori Vallow Daybell? Mark Means needs to focus on his client, and her charges. Not looking for extemporaneous evidence, that has nothing to do with LVD charges.

Thanks for this. On the face of it, and by comparison with a Means Motion(TM), it doesn't seem wholly crazy to grant a change of venue, although I'm not sure it's likely to help Chad, given that what scans as "fringe" to someone who is well-disposed towards mainstream versions of some of the beliefs connected to CD and LDV might seem straight-up unhinged to a jury drawn from just about anywhere, including Boise.

I hadn't heard about some of the other claims in this motion, though -- especially the "email sent by Daybell's sister-in-law to local members of the Church [addressing] how Chad's alleged fringe religious beliefs and the case impacted her and her family." Has this letter been published?

I guess if anything the motion underscores how good a job EastIdahoNews has done in reporting the details comprehensively.
