I am completely new to this case. Excuse me for butting into a long prior conversation.
After watching the recent 4 part documentary several questions came to mind.
The forensic corroboration of the 2 buried bodies occurred in June 2020. I assume no public ME report is available on JJ? A forensic autopsy may not be able to determine the cause of death on JJ but the ME should be able to "check" homicide vs "indeterminate" vs "accidental". That said, the provable case of homicide may be daunting in this particular circumstance. I assume no formal charge of homicide has been filed in this case because the DA is trying to assemble all the elements that can be proven in court in order to arrive at a"beyond a reasonable doubt standard". Obviously, this is not a "corpus delecti" problem. There seems to be a bounty of circumstantial evidence here. And obviously, in this circumstance, the "devil is in the details".
Secondly, this case started out with a lot of poignant "teasers" - children missing. parents seeking answers, "sex, lies, and video tapes" - all the elements of a Jodi Arias murder spectacle.** AND this nation has not had a good ole Jodi Arias soap opera in years. Therefore, it seems to me: we could be on the cusp of the "trial of the century- OJ Simpson 2021 extravaganza. Am I wrong here?
** By way of criticism the editors and producers of this documentary should be FORCED into taking a course on remedial film production, film editing, & documentary script writing. The 4 part production was interesting but horribly done. I would assign the production team on this case no higher than a "C- grade".
