Literal (high 43ºF, fair skies all day), yet somehow cryptic. Now what does MM have to be so happy about, I wonder? 43º isn't that nice.
Idaho, March...43°, is amazing.

First JP grinning on Zoom and now MM's joy... I think (speculate) that something is going their way in both their court cases. Possibly a prosecution witness has been compromised or there's another weakness on the prosecution's side, like a lack of direct electronic evidence against Chad and Lori or inconclusive children's autopsy results. Tammy's autopsy should have no bearing on the children's case. Somehow Wood doesn't want some of the recent findings/evidence to get out. Please don’t stop the daily updates. It’s good to know if he’s there and I’m sure I’m not the only one that chuckles when I see them. In fact, I’ve noticed more and more people are “liking” your reports.Haha good point.Sorry I’ll keep these to minimum posts.
Does anyone else find it problematic when people shame defense lawyers on SM for representing their clients, by reminding them about the nature of the crimes, like it's a moral flaw to take on a case? So they are automatically a bad person for representing someone who's accused of murder? Even the worst criminals have the right to legal representation.
MM took on Lori's defense before the children's bodies were found. Should he have quit when the circumstances of the crime became known? Defending the accused is defense attorney's job, not their personal mission.personally in this case, it’s the perps dismembering, burning, duck tapping and burying ( LV her own) children.
IE: Jose Biaz was beyond disgusting

I would like to know more detail about the failed shooting attack on Tammy. Who did she tell about it? And what details may she have told them? And did 1 or more of these people get an extra detail. Did she report it to the police? Did Chad report it to the police, and if not, why not. Also, it seems to me that there are only 3 possibilities for the shooter's identity. Alex, Chad, or Lori. Chad wouldn't need to look for a hired gun, already having Alex. And I don't buy a random stranger. If this incident was properly investigated, it may well have told us a lot else.

Tammy reported the incident to police and posted about it on the neighborhood watch fb group.
She filed a report with the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office and a deputy investigated the claim. “Our deputy went out there and investigated the report but he was unable to find anything,” Humphries tells EastIdahoNews.com.
...on Oct. 9, she went on a neighborhood Facebook group and described what happened as she was getting out of her car.

I’m trying to remember, was this the time the police came with metal detectors? I seem to remember snow on the ground, but with multiple shots you’d think they could have found somethingLike someone said a couple of pages back
Chad prob set the narrative that it was a paintball gun. She didn’t think it was “loaded”
IMO evidently a pop but no paint
I think AC was a bad shot except sadly with (close range) Charles Vallow.

a guy wearing a ski mask was suddenly standing by the back of my car with a paintball gun. He shot at me several times, although I don’t think it was loaded. I yelled for Chad and he ran off around the back of my house

BBM. I doubt Lori (or Chad) told MM that the children were dead before they were found. Chad might have called him that morning to explain what LE were doing on his property. I'm sure he didn't reveal that bodies were buried there. Lori didn't need to be told what she already knew.JMO but when I listen to the recorded phone call between LVD and CD...The day Chad was arrested ...IMO think someone else knew what was about to go down .
Transcript of Lori Daybell's call to Chad Daybell on day of children's discovery
Lori Daybell
“Are you okay?”
Chad Daybell
“No, they’re searching the property.”
Lori Daybell
“The house right now?”
Chad Daybell
“Yeah, yeah. [Unintelligible, possibly ‘not the house.’] So Mark Means [Lori Daybell’s attorney] will be talking to you.”

Alex was pretty close to Tammy. I can't believe that he would miss her altogether with multiple shots. IMO he either chickened out or the gun jammed. If he shot at her and missed, wouldn't she see, not just hear something?Like someone said a couple of pages back
