I don't think vacating the motuon for dismissal is because of a plea. I am thinking that something happened where they now need to be tried seperately. Pryer woud be happy about that and Means would not imo. There could be a witness that has info against one of the defendants and not the other. By Pryer's smile I would think it was against Ms Vallow. moo

I 'm guessing it could be the motions filed yesterday - those Pro Hac Vice motions @montegrl copied over here.

Local update: MM was at the women’s detention center everyday this week. But what’s noteworthy is Wednesday JP was also there with him. Also, still have quiet a bit of ribbons left up from last year when they were hung up in town.

Moved to just a weekly update because a couple people felt my updates were a lot. No hard feelings from me, just hope to keep everyone in the loop of what’s happening in town. If there’s a request for daily updates I’ll switch back.

Not only that, it's possible that it was on their mind that bringing in someone who is INCREDIBLY qualified lessens the chance of making a mistake and full justice not being served.

Why would Prior vacate Chad’s motion to dismiss unless they had settled on a plea agreement. After the last hearing —where Means was called to breakout room to talk the Judge first, the sealing of breakout room discussion, Prior’s smug smile and Mean’s nauseous expression— I’ve felt Chad worked out a plea. Reduced charges or immunity to future charges if he flips on Lori.

Hypothesis only, but IMO the pieces would fit. I’ll be disappointed if Chad gets away without murder charges.

Now this may be off the table, considering these newest articles, but my thoughts are that if CD rolled on LV for the kids, she would just roll on him for TD. So, it seems unlikely he would ever be the one to turn on her.

BBM. The EIN article states that Wood is requesting help in the children's case:

The admission of Smith to the Idaho jurisdiction is requested for “any investigating or resulting case or charges regarding the conduct of the defendants connected with crimes against Tylee Ryan and Joshua Vallow in Idaho.”
