The inclusion of Tammy's name is so good. It can't be there for a natural death.

Who would reveal details of a case like this at any point in the process?
MOO, I just doubt it is one of the jurors or jury pool.
MOO If it is leak it needs to be vigorously investigated, like the Gannon Stauch leak.

So... what's going on?

I’m surprised the local news orgs have’t picked up this Grand Jury info yet. I hope it’s accurate.

This is exactly why I’m not allowing myself to gear up yet.

Tangentially related I guess, but I just saw this elsewhere, appears Fremont County is still looking for a Deputy Coroner....the last line of the essential qualifications....well, I guess it can be tough to find to find more experienced and classically trained people in very rural/remote areas
(Sorry I added the quick highlight)

And I too am waiting to hear more, not getting my hopes up, but I am curious if CourtTV is correct about this grand jury coming together soon....

Isn't the Fremont County coroner an EMT?

Isn't the Fremont County coroner an EMT?
You'd be correct. That is the same woman who has a high school diploma and was an EMT for most of her post-high school graduation life.
Also this is NOT meant in any way to disparage this person or to say they "only" or "just" have a high school diploma, just saying you are correct and trying to provide more background context that has been discussed before. When she ran for the coroner role, because that is an elected position, she had told news outlets she ran because family members of deceased people told her to run for it. It is not surprising though, it seems this is a common occurrence in many more rural areas.

Heck, saying all that reminds me that Rob Wood doesn't have much experience in complex cases or homicides at all, and even the former prosecutor they brought on to help their team, while she has much more experience, she doesn't highlight any of her history with homicide cases on her own business website (which IMO I thought was a bit odd). She mentions her experience in "General Litigation, Employment Law, Election Law, Victims' Rights and Representation" though. Sorry - got a bit off-track from your original question.

Coroner did not adhere to requesting an autopsy for any death not attended by a physician.
Basically both the Fremont Deputy and Fremont Coroner accepted Chad's story of Tammy having detiorating health.
Coroner | Fremont County, Colorado

not entirely surprising IMHO when you realize the coroner only has EMT background and very little forensic and crime scene training. Husband says she dies, she doesn’t see anything out of the ordinary at the scene and says no autopsy. She tries to stay real quiet about what she said that day after it was brought back up again in this case about the Deputy who went to the house who is the same one who called her to come to the scene. I’m sure if this grand jury stuff is happening she will talk to the jury.

Chad's a master flirt. MOO think that skill played into his story washing, with both the deputy and coroner, despite his story's inconsistencies.
MOO I forgive them though, they got called to an supremely evil situation with nothing on the husband's mind but misdirecting them.

BBM. I think she said in an online hearing that her private practice was in a different field, so there was no conflict of interest with her public job.

I am eagerly waiting for confirmation on this. CourtTV is not the most reliable source. Their judgement is certainly "off" at times, considering they had MM on as an "Expert Criminal Defense Attorney" commenting on the Chauvin trial.

MOO

At least they use proper grammar when they report, unlike some others who have reported on the case...just saying. JMOO

I know, it's sad. The kids not only lost their momma but now are having to deal with losing a Dad. Sad all the way around and for what... a lying, cheating, despicable, used up so called "woman" In the end he lost way more than he would have ever gained.

I was with you until I read woman. He's just as much a lying, cheating, despicable, used up human. They lost both parents because of his choices. MOO I don't think she had to do much chasing. AMOO

defense team

Would the defense team even be notified of a pending grand jury? No-one has been charged with the crimes the GJ will be considering.

Iirc, past a certain age, and it's not very old, an autopsy is not mandated and is at the discretion of the Coroner.
