How is the timing off? He died [was murdered] just 3 months after Tylee.

The sentence makes it appear that he, Kay and Tylee became zombies at the same time. It is stated that MG learned that information from Lori and Chad. Was Alex already a zombie at the time when MG recorded them (a few days before his death)? It didn't seem like it on the call.

It would appear that MG shared info with more people than just SD from the recorded call. At least one version was out in public before MG did any interviews.

Timing doesn’t really matter does it? I mean if you kill a zombie right away or use him for another year? What really counted to Chad was using people at will.

Both MG and MBP stated that Alex believed in Chad's doctrine. I say it is possible that Alex was declared a zombie (though the only source so far is an anonymous letter), but not before the killings were over. If the info on Alex is coming from MG, I hope she is asked on the witness stand about it.

I'm not sure why multiple legal experts interviewed think that Chad wants the death penalty because he'd like to be a martyr. To me it's quite the opposite. IMO he'll try to diminish the impact of his teachings and his influence.

Some more Chandler PD documents were released on reporter Kim Powell's fb. It appears that Charles' family (his sons, ex-wife and KW) were in contact with police very shortly after his murder. His son asked about Alex's weapon permits and they did not disclose their address to Lori out of fear that they were going to be next. KW recorded a 25-minute call from Lori. They were reluctant to trust Adam's family at the time.

The document about the obit is interesting too--they said that it was written by someone they did not know.

Somewhere I read that Chad made a 7 minute phone call to that mortuary. I wonder if he called them and used a fake name to give them info for Charles' obit.

I heard most of the live before it was taken down, and it sounded like the messages between the two them were part of pending legal action, so it will probably be a long time, if ever, before we get to see them. The word "blackmail" was used by the YouTuber. MOO, I believe there was concern that this situation with MM and AR could cause a mistrial.

But a mistrial can only occur once the trial has started so that isn’t an issue here. This info comes from Lori Hellis. Moo

I was surprised by those comments. Even if the defense suggests some sort of "freedom of religion" practices (major stretch)... CD's practices are a mighty flimsy sword to fall upon.

I don't know why they'd think that. Chad Daybell was white as a ghost and went into "deer in the headlight" mode just from a reporter in Hawaii putting a microphone in his face. He literally didn't look like he knew what to do until LV grabbed his hand and dragged him away looking totally cowed.

An interesting police email from the link above (sent in April 2020):

Just got results from the (redacted) email. This was the address that the fraudulent email was sent to asking Chad to come to AZ. Well the account was sent up with the fictitious name of (redacted) with (redacted). The date of birth associated with the account was (redacted). The number used for the account was Lori's (redacted). She would use this email to converse with Chad at (redacted) and (redacted). The account was established on 4/22/19. She used it to ask Chad to come to AZ (as (redacted)) on 4/27/19 to speak. It appears he did come then and she sent him a thank you email on 4/30/19.

Lori would send emails from her (redacted) account to the (redacted) and then to either one of the two mentioned for Chad. Most content were fake emails to get him to come to AZ or links to her singing on (redacted).

My comment: We have learned before that months later Charles caught Lori sending Chad a fake invitation to come to Arizona. She made it look like Chad was writing a book for Charles.
