You are correct. Alex and Chad both pinged there at the right times.
I don't remember ping location being released for Chad's phone, but I'm sure it's consistent with the narrative the police put forward.

Question- It seems from the beginning, JP has tried to distance CD from LV...If they go the route of he was framed and it was all AC/LV, wouldn't he almost have to take the stand?

I'm curious if they found any CD DNA on the duct tape. You'd think if there was, it's included in the discovery and I'd imagine JP has given the green light on this interview. Maybe there is no DNA linking CD and everything is digital evidence. Maybe there is DNA on the duct tape and they're saying someone must have stolen it from his shed or home to frame him.
IMO duct tape was applied in the apartment. I'd expect it to contain Lori's and/or Alex's DNA, but not necessarily Chad's.

I can't get very mad at his kids.Just think how hard it would be to come to terms with the fact your dad was a monster.
I get that. However, they clearly aren't coming to terms with the fact that their dad did some pretty heinous things. All 5 of them are defending and supporting their father as completely innocent of any wrongdoing; who has somehow been beguiled, seduced, and framed by Lori. They're in denial.

I'm not mad at them though. But I do feel very sorry for them and the situation Chad has put them in.

A new video trailer for today's interview:

https://twitter.com/48hours/status/1433067285997031425

Chad's daughter EM: "None of this would've happened if Lori Vallow had never come into my family's life."

EM: "It's hard to even comprehend. It's a nightmare for me every single day to even think about. Lives with so much potential and goodness - they're gone. They're ended."

Chad's son GD: "I first heard of her (Lori's) children when a detective came to my work and asked me about them. I had never heard of them before that point."

To the question if she questioned her father's innocence after the children's bodies were found, LM answered: "Not my father."

GD: "It goes back to what we know about him as a man, as our father."

A third trailer (about Tammy):

https://twitter.com/48hours/status/1433099078401933320

GD: "I just ran over and picked her (Tammy) up and put her back on the bed."

GD: "I said to my dad, I said, I think she's dead."

EM: "She (Tammy) would get out of breath very quickly. And would get very tired. And she started going to bed very early at night."

When asked if they ever thought that their father could have murdered their mother to marry Lori, the children say no.

EM (about Chad marrying Lori so quickly): "I see where people would see that. It was a very socially inappropriate choice to make. And socially inappropriate doesn't mean something bad happened though."

When GD is asked what he thought when the police told him that his mother had been asphyxiated:

GD: "It's - it's hard to process. But - I just still can't believe that he (Chad) would do such a thing."

Watching the trailers is very telling of what is to come. The honeymoon is over for sure.
And its every nut for themselves.

Agreed. I don't think this would have been done without JPs approval.

I also don't think the children are going to be happy with what they hear/see during trial

I am not watching the show tonight. I don’t think, I know I can not stand it. So if anyone does watch and posts info, thanks for taking a hit for the team and posting what you think is important.

He married Lori about a week later.

And Lori bought the wedding ring 17 days before Tammy was found dead due to asphyxiation.

Tbf, given Lori's relationship history, that ring could very well have been for an as yet unnamed man! (JK...mostly).

Yes, but it was also a cheap ring that didn't have to be a wedding ring. I wonder when Chad's matching ring was bought? The receipt we have seen is for one ring only.

If the defense theory is going to be that Chad was framed, seems like he's is going to have to take the stand and do some explaining.

I was a lot more irritated by JC and SS's interview. They were blaming the victims. Here the prevailing response is sadness. Chad's children are bound to discover that their father isn't a good man.

Sorry GD: you don’t know him at all.

I’m sorry to have to ask. Who is JC and who is SS? My memory isn’t great with names.

I wonder Chad's children can acknowledge that their father led a double life and was cheating on their mother.
They will have to at some point, or spend their lives ostracized by other family. My question to each of them is have you just completely cut off the feeling from your mother’s family?

Lori is a monster. No doubt. But Chad was just as guilty for luring her in with his idiotic beliefs. Light and dark and all that.
