At the very least it indicates Tylee and JJ are a victim of some kind.

That’s terrible. I’m curious when during an investigation the specialist would appear- like immediately or after something certainly happened?

Perhaps someone is/was home during the search. There’s a snow covered white sedan (Ford Focus?) parked out back.

Hard to say if someone is there at the moment. But it seems to confirm that someone lives there. I can see that the driveway was shoveled obviously sometime after Nov 27th. (I'm guessing at least within the last week or so). Don't know when it snowed last etc. Don't know how many vehicles are in use by the residents.

The argument that Chad's children didn't even met Tylee and Joshua so, we shouldn't even expect them to do or say something doesn't even make sense. Their father married these kids' mother. They are nowhere to be found. Lori said that Tylee died, Chad said that Lori doesn't have any underage children. And the Daybell siblings are not expected to care or be concerned because they never met these kids? Come on. I do agree that talking about them on the internet or having media outlets chasing them is not going to do anything, but LE should be paying close attention to them IF they are really talking to their father. IF they know where he and Lori are, the right thing to do is to tell the truth, not on social media, not to the media, but to LE. Even if Tammy's autopsy reveals that there wasn't any foul play involved, Chad is still on the run from the FBI, with a woman who has a trail of suspicious, weird deaths around her. To me, that is case for concern.

I completely understand why you feel that way. I really do! I probably would have felt the very same way 18 months ago.

But having been close to a national missing case I see things a bit differently now. The FBI has been brought in and they are very good when it comes to “disappearing” cases. I have confidence they are asking all the right questions to all the right people, we just don’t know it.

Quite often LE asks family members not to speak publically. I would be surprised if that were not the case here. There can be a number of reasons for this— sometimes to avoid tipping off guilty parties that they are getting close.

It’s also quite possible family members are making personal pleas to Chad/Lori to come forward. If true, saying anything publicly could end that line of communication. If I had to bet I’d say many in both families want the children to be found safe as much if not more than we do.

Even if none of the above is true, let’s remember Chad and Tammy’s children are going through a hell that can’t be imagined by most people. Chad’s kids have lost their mother and are suddenly forced to question everything they ever knew about their father. Plus their day to day life is undoubtedly chaos with everyone they know asking questions, reporters and podcasters badgering them while internet trolls attack them. They may even fear for their safety. And it’s not just them, those that have kids are concurrently trying to guide their young ones through a jr version of that same hell.

Ditto for Lori’s son, facing the fact he may have lost both siblings at his mother’s hand.

As I’ve said before, I was astounded by the collateral impact press and social media had (and is still having) on the lives of SW’s family, friends and witnesses. Often, the pain inflicted was by well-meaning people who just didn’t realize the impact of their comments. Did I not personally see what they were going through I may well have made some such comments myself.

This isn’t a “put yourself in their shoes” situation because fortunately that would be impossible for most of us to accurately imagine. Like trying to imagine you walk outside and suddenly there is no more air. I’m sure it would be awful but I’m also sure the actual horror would be far worse than anything I can conjure in my mind.

Bottom line, I encourage everyone to try to focus on persons of interest/finding the kids and trust LE to deal w/family. I believe most of the family are trying their best to do the right thing. And any that aren’t will eventually be exposed. And then, off come the gloves!

of course, MOO

I hope, with this latest news and development in the case, that those secondary and tertiary parties who have been treating this whole situation rather flippantly start to sober up and realize the seriousness of what's going on. This is clearly not (and never has been) a case about custodial rights. If someone has information they've been sitting on, hoping and wishing that the primary parties involved have only been doing what's best for the children, it's time to realize that's not the case and therefore you need to bring forward any information you may have to law enforcement. A healthy dose of MOO.

I am in my car and on my phone. I just heard the news about the search warrant. I bet the Cod is back on Tammy's death. I will catch up when I get home and be back later.

Great sleuthing @alter idem !

your post snipped for focus and bbm

Also, in looking at the name of the woman Alex Cox married, I found the same name listed as a registered user on AVOW, and I'm quite certain it's the same person, given what we know about her. So, yes, AVOW is a likely place to find people who would help hide them ......”

I recall in a previous thread someone familiar w/these organizations saying at least one person in particular has implied she’s established a network of safe houses, etc. I won’t be surprised if they find Lori, Chad, Melanie and Mel’s new husband have been taking advantage of this “service”. I’d be overjoyed to learn Tylee and JJ are being similarly harbored but sadly my gut says otherwise.

Did Colby say when he last saw or heard from Tylee or Joshua? Thanks for this update. That's all telling to me.
No he didn’t. I like to think that’s because LE has requested he not answer that publicly. That’s the only thing that makes any sense to me.

All of this!! We really have no idea what is going on in the background.

They are using metal detectors to "search the yard..."

Eric Grossarth on Twitter

Wow! I've never seen LE use metal detectors on a snow covered lawn before. I wonder if they got a tip to look for something in a certain part of the lawn? I doubt they would do that if this search was merely a fishing expedition. They likely know something and are looking for something specific. MOO.

@Colorado303 , IIRC the $$$ & safe house network was linked to another end-times blogger, since that person is not named a POI we're limited in sleuthing.

That un-named person might sing a 1970 Bobby Sherman song and use a small boat with oars.

JMHO YMMV

Oh crap. I think we all know what this means- Tammy didn't die a natural death. :(
Yep. I’m very glad they were able to find incriminating evidence in the 2nd autopsy given she had been buried for more than a month and presumably embalmed. VERY glad!

I have a good friend that’s an avid metal detector and on occasion LE has requested he and friends come to a crime scene to look for bullets/casings. I imagine a detector would also be helpful if someone buried a gun, knife or heaven forbid a body with some metal (jewelry, belt buckle, bra, zipper). Whatever they are looking for I hope they find it. Unless it’s a body. I hope there isn’t one to find!

Thank you.

And BTW, this is my favorite post so far this year!
