Well, that doesn't fit because Charles came to Lori's home to take JJ to school. So whom was he going to take to school if JJ wasn't there when he came home?

Wondering about the whole school angle. Charles was shot on July 11 so school was out for the summer. The AZ Central article simply states that Charles was at the home to pick up JJ. No mention of school.

My best guess would be Alex’s new wife that he married in Las Vegas just after Thanksgiving. If Alex & Lori we’re loading up and leaving ID, maybe the whole gang was in Las Vegas for a minute. MOO

Any child with Autism is going to be very set on routine and predictability. Lori's moving around constantly and on her own whims and all about her own desires and crazy missions is bad news for little JJ. He needs a lot of stability in his life with regular medication, possible therapy for strategies, and the predicable flow of life.

I have a son who is 10 with ADHD and ODD, two of the three things little JJ has. Even this child of mine needs these things, but for an Autistic child on the spectrum - THIS IS CRUCIAL. It makes me so angry to know she's drug that child through Heaven knows what... and he's likely not coping all that well without a support animal he was used to, without his father, without his medication, and without anything familiar to him around him day in and out.

I can not imagine what this little guy has gone through. In the divorce papers it mentions JJ's ipad and therapy. There is a reason to mention that ipad ..It probably refers to his ability to communicate and function.

Another interesting tidbit from this article is that Alex came to Rexburg with Lori and had townhome in the same complex. He died on 12/12 in Phoenix. Raises more questions than answers.

JJ was special needs. It is likely he was in some kind of summer program which would reasonably be referred to as "school"
