Do we know if Alex left Rexburg with Lori? Was he there when the police arrived the next day? They searched two appartments, right?

Yes, according to neighbor they broke down AC’s door to get in, and there was a 3rd apartment too, another “family member” of Lori and Alex.

But LE talked to Chad (or someone who said he was Chad) on Nov. 26th. The same day the neighbor saw them leave.
Or perhaps the neighbor saw Chad and Lori packing up the truck, and Alex was already on his way to Las Vegas by then.

Maybe Chad was at Lori's when the police arrived, but returned to his house later. Alex moved from Arizona with Lori in September and had a separate appartment close to Lori's. The neighbor would recognized him IMO.

Wherever Chad was vacationing over the Thanksgiving holiday, don’t we imagine he used his real name/ID/credit card, and there are records of hotel rooms, etc.?

If Lori and Alex packed the truck together on 11/26, I imagine they left together, directly to Las Vegas for the weddings.
I’ve been gone and not enough time to read all the threads, but did we ever figure out which “family member/sister” rented the 3rd apartment in the complex? Was it Melani and fiancé? Was it Alex’s fiancé?

Lori didn’t talk much on the Time to Warrior podcast with Chad. It was mostly Chad speaking about his visions and what would happen in the end times. He believes the United States will be invaded by “Coalition Forces” ( I don’t know who this is...) and that the Mormon youth will need to fight them, after an earthquake.

Oh right. That is unlikely though right? The States has never been invaded before. Attacked, yes. The earthquake could happen but that really is only a threat in Ca I guess.

PAP were the ones that pulled the podcasts on their own volition. I believe they still have copies of them they are likely allowing LE to review, but they pulled them, horrified and not wanting to promote something they didn't intend. They said as much themselves publicly, and this was referenced quite some time back.

Patriarchs give a once in a lifetime blessing. These blessings are often 1-3 pages typed on average and are not in massive amounts of detail. They see each individual only once and usually do not form any specific personal relationship with them. According to LDS beliefs, they hold the priesthood keys and authority to give these kinds of blessings. There is a line of authority for all the various parts of how this church operates, and what's occurred with Chad is a possible breach of that concept. He claims to be receiving revelation that is outside of his jurisdiction for lack of a better word. LDS call that stewardship. Technically only the Prophet/President has the authority to receive revelation from God for the entire church. This is where a lot of these sorts of people, including Julie Rowe, went astray.

There is a lot of latitude given for LDS members to prepare in ways they feel specifically prompted to do. To my knowledge the church advocates for emergency preparedness, but doesn't typically include guns and ammo and bunkers and so on. Those are things some members choose for themselves. Prepping is fairly normal, though not all LDS members do this. It depends on their personal choice on how involved in that aspect they are.

I know that it took years for the church to excommunicate Julie Rowe. These things are handled by local lay clergy, and the locals are not always fully aware of the extent of things going on with online groups or other things right off. It's highly likely Chad flew under the radar for a very long time. Even the one author I am close friends with who knows Chad personally said today on the phone with me that she is shocked by all this. She felt Chad was going down a path that wasn't good, but this whole thing is not something she could have ever guessed.

It is annoying that more of us didn't listen before they were pulled but it didn't become the convoluted case till Alex died the day after the exhumation. And there were a lot to listen too so I only looked at the titles.

I was pretty disappointed when I found the Feeling the Fire podcasts with Chad and Lori posted in Sept. 2019 and they had already been pulled down. I think they may have held a clue or two, or at least helped us understand their state of mind.

Ok I have tons of notes on this JR (author) video... I'm a little unclear as to what I can and cannot post about what she says. Please update me on that and then I'll post what I can from that.

BBM. It's not known at this point. IMO Alex's fiancée would not have been renting a separate appartment just for herself.

Am I correct in understanding that some of you want the church leadership to make a formal and official statement of some sort? What is it you want them to say? I'm asking out of pure desire to understand that further.

Some of us stated this a couple of threads back but it went nowhere but as you are now asking, maybe the media guru could put out a statement not to harbour them and to notify LE if they know the kids whereabouts. MOO.

The POIs in this case are obviously not following the teachings of the LDS church and the continuing discussion of genuine LDS beliefs is simply not constructive in this case.

If you mean me, I'm sorry, you are mistaken. I only want to know why Tammy died and where those kids are. I'm extremely puzzled and surprised by all of this. I have been fearing for my own and my family's safety from the possibility of what has been alleged and speculated.

Matt's statement gave me courage. "We want for the truth to be found – whatever that truth turns out to be."

I'm in contact with LE regarding what I know including things that are not yet known here for the reasons I just expressed. I want to share it all if it might help, but much of it is related to Tammy's death.

Looks like my earlier reply got trimmed. I obviously don't know if in fact they were or were not given modern travel. I have a very MOO that they were not together. I'll elaborate because I feel I can do so safely without disclosing my identity.
I know some of the adult children were not in church on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Dec 1) and were on a family vacation that spanned multiple days. I know from this source and other primary sources that Chad was with them during part or all of it, and that Lori did not appear to be there. JJ and Tylee were also very likely not present.

Edit: Again, I haven't seen Chad in person since October.
Also: The vacation ended Dec 1 or 2.

My goodness, playing catch up.

There are some well-loved books I've read half a dozen times. I am well aware they're fiction.

I can't figure out what they had. As far as I know Chad moved out of his house after Tammy died. When police showed up to check on JJ's welfare, apparently Chad was with her in the townhouse. So it would appear he did move with Lori.

TY for that pic. It pretty much confirms those 3 vehicles must belong to the Cox and Vallow families as we thought. No random parked vehicles would be there with those gates IMO.

Was Chad spending some of his unaccounted-for time back at the family home in Salem acting as though he was a grieving widower....and some of this timeframe at Lori's Rexburg townhome on a honeymoon?

(By the way, how DID the Daybell children find out about his hasty remarriage? Is this known?)
