As far as I can tell she wasn't. The child went from the hospital right to his grandparents, then Charles and Lori adopted him when he was 8-9 month old. Not sure what info bio mom could possibly provide.

She had contact with him to some extent. She and the father have posted on social media at various times before JJ went missing about him.

I’ve been thinking about the custody angle: even if a case isn’t active in courts but Lori feared losing JJ (whether for love or money Or both) nothing she’s doing now strengthens her case for keeping them—acting sanely and following the legal process for disputes would be the best course of action. Am I missing anything? Also I might lean that way if there weren’t so many dead bodies (and attempts w evidence) around. Sigh. This needs to be over w these kids safe is all I can say.

The other thing I have seen hinted at is that there is a lot of money involved due to Charlie’s life insurance, and hinting that whoever has custody of JJ, would have access to this money?

Nov. 17th was the first I had heard about the wedding. I would have been prior. I've heard as soon as 10 days following Tammy's death, to 2-weeks.

So, folks in the ward (and Chad’s family) knew about his remarriage, and heard he was living in town with his new wife?
Chad was on vacation with his adult kids over Thanksgiving, right after talking to LE on the 26th.
I wonder if CD decided to try to go make a “nice appearance“ with his family, or brief them on his marriage (is that when he said that Lori didn’t have any kids) or the coming end of the world, or garner their “support” on the next steps of his going into hiding - when I heard the lawyer statement about how Chad has the support of his children I feel like that was a threat/message/reminder to the kids that they’d better not say anything. But yeah, the family vacation would have been pre-planned - so maybe they were all about to leave town anyway - or at least Chad was. I wonder if the Vegas marriages were pre-planned as well.

I’ve been thinking about the interview with Lori’s Rexburg neighbor. JJ said he was going to visit grandma. This must be the Arizona grandmother, Lori’s mom? So Alex drives, “Tylee’s Jeep” down to Arizona with the kids the week of Sept. 23 since he’s there Oct. 2 to shoot at Brandon. Kids are never seen in Rexburg again. So I think the children are in Arizona, and I don’t think they are alive. Now where is Lori during this time? Did she go to Hawaii early? If she took the kids to Hawaii with her and left them there, wouldn’t this be very easy for LE to verify? Through commercial flight records? Law enforcement has not told the public which cars to be looking for, so they must know the location of these vehicles?

I think sadly it was a really huge thing that Lori got rid of JJ's dog. That right there tells us everything. I think the FBI is waiting on Tammy's autopsy and then moving forward.

apparently, Lori was already feeling “done” with parenting, and I’m sure the addition of a dog was not conducive to moving/hiding, even if it made parenting a high need child easier, still requires care, and of course is heartbreaking for poor JJ.
I hope he at least has his iPad- surely Tylee would know how to use that ipad to connect to wi-Fi and get help.

For whatever reason, I didn't think she had been in his life. Please let us know when she last saw or talked to him!

Kay said that JJ had regular visits with the whole extended family in Lake Charles - it was an open/kinship adoption, so that would mean limited contact between birthmother and JJ, especially when she was struggling with drug addiction.

BBM. If Chad told his children that Lori had no minor kids, his children were not the ones who informed the police about it, since they aren't cooperating.

Yea so back to them being married. I guess LE wouldn’t say that without knowing it. So do they have immediate access to records for states that don’t have online records? Or did he just tell someone? Did he say her name?

Yeah Chad has the support of the children, at least the ones who were alive and not disappeared. By the way, that daily mail Article had the name and photo of Alex’ new wife before he mysteriously passed away 10 days later.

I actually wondered if it is all a publicity stunt and they will show up and then bring out their film. JR clearly believes the devil is behind it and Chad is just following along. I hope the kids are fine and that FBI do know where they all are. I think nothing now will happen till the tox reports are back (in 2 weeks ? ).
I get the feeling that there is a lot of money in these prepper conferences, speeches, books etc but get too wacky or powerful and the church slaps your hands. AJMO.

The money issue (Charles Vallow's money) is probably the current favorite with Chad and Lori's apologists. Charles Vallow's sister refused to discuss details in the last media interview.

Someone mentioned Lori being the catalyst of Chad’s brewing dreams, and I really believe that. As Forrest Gump would say, they go together like peas and carrots. They just can’t seem to handle all the extra people in their life messing up the fancy dreams. Come hell or High water.

Totally my opinion, big time, but I strongly believe 2015. I think it started as an emotional affair, and moved on to physical who knows when. That was the time of the move to Rexburg, I think he wanted to get away from Springville where both he and Tammy's families live, as well as it's much cheaper to buy a home and live in Rexburg.
