Think about this one. It's known Lori and Alex have no filter, engaging in a screaming match in public, in the street in front of neighbors. Who else thinks they argued about their evil deeds, if not in front of the kids, at least in earshot? They knew too much!

I am with you on this. I think 2 kids knew too much and traumatized so now you move them to Idaho and have a 17 yr old in a full melt down of what she has witnessed or been a part of . I see Tylee needing her friends and something familiar and she is sitting in an apartment in Idaho with JJ ? NO. The religion is a smoke screen to cover what took place in Arizona MOO

I realize Alex acted as if he was supposed to be there and Charles was some guy from Houston...but this seriously wouldn’t have held up if Alex was prosecuted right? It seems so twisted! MOO

FYI: Middleton is at least 4 hours (closer to 5+) drive from Rexburg.

How would moving to another state prevent someone from being charged? Furthermore Alex returned to AZ, as we all know he died there. If he had concerns about being charged, and that could only be done if he lived in AZ, why did he return there?

MOO: CV's family was not happy with the lack of murder charge, pressed LV about visiting and/or taking the children for their safety. LV and AC moved to Idaho. JJ enrolled in school to try for some normalcy. JJ has a quick mind and starts talking (asking questions) to friends and/or school workers about why they moved and where they come from. LV pulls him out of school so there will be no more contact/questions there.

It is interesting, that there is almost no information about the death of Alex Cox. ...I think that his whereabouts and death are very much a part of this mystery about the children.

MOO: At the time of his death, LE in three states and FBI were looking for the children. I think their delay of a week had everything to do with trying to locate before announce to media because of the connection between LV and AC. They were protecting

Yet 2nd degree was put on the report to the prosecutor. Were they considering charging AC and that is also partly why AC and LV get apartments in Rexburg? At the same time the landlord wants LV out by 31 Aug so maybe CD says move up here, but why does AC move too and another person - a sister? Maybe why the 2nd degree is still an open investigation. Now AC is dead, it is even more suspicious. MOO

Alex wasn't charged. Did the prosecutor believe self defense or did the prosecutor just decide not to bring charges? (It's a gray area and we don't know one way or the other) All I know is if the prosecutor decided to charge, it sets the wheels in motion. Alex would be required to have a trial. If found Not Guilty, he could not be charged again. Prosecutors can choose not to charge because it keeps their options open.

AC states in the video he cleaned his head up ( assuming blood from the bat hit).
Has anyone seen documentation that we was attended to by the medics who arrived while he was being interviewed on the curb?
I didn’t see a lump or bump or wound of any kind within the video and ( having experience in the medical field ) can tell u head wounds bleed like crazy.

I want to know if the bat has any blood or dna on it.

I believe Melani is the daughter of Lori and Alex's late sister Stacey, who died sometime back in the mid to late 1990's....moo

Alex was her uncle. Lori's and Alex's sister was her mother.....

Wow! That article really lays out the narrative about what Charles was up against with Lori. Charles was CLEARLY murdered. This was not self defense. This woman needs to be stopped. This article also made me think even more that the kiddos are no longer with us. Praying I'm wrong.

I have searched for an obituary for him almost as much as I've checked his autopsy status (still pending). I'm assuming his new wife made a decision where to release his body to.

I'm working on updating the timeline. Does anyone know what date Charles (and JJ) returned to AZ to try to make things with Lori work out? I have down that he dropped the divorce and moved back to Texas with JJ in March 2019. But by June 2019 Charles and Lori rented a new house in Chandler together (according to the landlord JP). The house they rent in June is where CV was shot in July. I'm going to write it as CV went back to AZ in approx May/June 2019 with a question mark on the exact date, unless anyone knows a more specific date or time frame. TIA.

The landlord has been quoted in a few articles. He said Charles did not live at the house he died in, and that Lori had moved in the month prior to the shooting. He had also rented Charles and Lori a house when they lived together, before moving to Hawaii. After the shooting he asked Lori to vacate (implying Charles was the rentee, not Lori) and she was out by Aug 31. He said Charles had business in 3 or so states and would often have places to stay in each. He said he had plans with Charles for later that day to look at other rentals for him in the area because it was not working out with Lori.
Hopefully since the post is quoted in MSM its allowable here. I'll remove if not.

No. It's been discussed previously, but Alex and Lori have at least a couple other siblings whose names I don't remember off the top of my head. One, a sister who died in the late 90s ('99, I think) is Melanie's mother. The other, another brother unless I'm getting confused, is a DJ IIRC. I'm positive about Melanie's mother being a sibling of Alex and Lori who is deceased.

MOO, when Lori "vanished" in early 2019, it was because she knew that 1-Charles was seeking an involuntary mental health hold for her, and 2-She would be served with divorce papers. I'll have to find it in MSM again, but she DID try to check JJ out of school the day she left, but Charles, suspecting what was happening, had already checked him out. Tylee was with her, though.

The Feel the Fire podcast description for the episode released 2/14/09 (don't know when it was recorded, but would assume sometime between the release of the last episode on 2/8/19 and this release) includes this: "We missed Lori's grounded conviction this week as she was out on assignment." She wasn't available in Arizona to do the podcast. It also says this, "The group mentions a new Preparing a People Event that Melanie and Lori will attend in Boise will be Feb. 15-16." And Charles thought that's where she was that weekend, so attempts were made to serve the divorce papers there. But she couldn't be found. That's because she had run off to her favorite paradise during that time, I've heard. Per the article about the fight between her and Alex, and the article about trying to serve the papers, she stayed with him in San Tan Valley during part of her "disappeared" time.

This is the rental history for the home I believe is the one Charles and Lori were living in when the disappearance/divorce filing went down (2267 E Tomahawk in Gilbert), after which Charles moved to Houston and Lori stayed who knows where...with her parents?, or Alex?, until Charles rented the home for them in June 2019 where he was later killed.

Charles' older son did an interview saying he helped his father move back to Texas with JJ sometime in March-- no specific move date was given but the divorce was dropped Mar 6th according to court docs. I don't know why CV had a rental car. The landlord says that CV and Lori rented the Chandler, AZ home together in June. The landlord also says CV texted him Jun 10 (the night before he died) saying that he needed to find another place to live because it wasn't working out with Lori. The landlord planned to meet with CV the morning CV was shot. It sounds like possibly Lori and CV had a fight sometime before June 11th and CV went to a hotel and got a rental car-- My interpretation only. I'm just trying to figure out when CV and JJ returned from TX to AZ.
