Its inexplicable to me why the police are not being more aggressive about locating these children. Its seems they dont want the publics help.
Small town police force, embarrassed how they just wrote TD death as natural. Also we don't know how deep CD's ties to the community are, or who else is an AVOW/PAP member/sympathizer, even in LE. MOO

Yes. The police report says that on 2/1/19 the officer verified that Lori checked herself into Community Bridges and was discharged a few hours later (during which she certainly didn't tell them she is a translated being). But Charles' 2/15/19 divorce petition says "To date, Mother [Lori] has not been taken to Community Bridges..."
I wonder if it’s possible he didn’t know?

I definitely think lifetime or someone is gonna turn this into a tv movie.

I can see that happening. But a family tree visualization chart might be needed so no one gets exhausted trying to figure out the characters. Kinda' like 3D glasses but not. Lol

But how would he know? They are not allowed to tell him whether she has been there or not, unless she specifically signs a waiver allowing it (obviously she would not). I would think that if she was supposed to be there 3 days, and she was out a few hours later, he assumed she never was there. Moo.

Hmmm... Lori's delusions/beliefs seem to come and go, perhaps when they are convenient for her. MOO

Just thinking out loud here...

I wonder where the $35k went that Lori stole and transferred from Charles's business account? I can't recall which thread I saw that email/photo of the docs. I would guess LE has traced how that was used/dispersed? I am wondering if Lori had been paying Alex (or anyone else) off to do her dirty work... I would think LE has looked at bank records for several months perhaps?

Secondly, for Alex to be a truck driver, he sure moved around a lot and went here and there -ID, AZ...Vegas..and reportedly Columbia? (usually wherever Lori was)... Was he legitimately working?? Was he a long haul driver, and is it possible he loaded these children up and dropped them somewhere or with someone along whatever route he had??

Possibly. But, I thought the document would say "to petitioner's knowledge" or something similar if they were going just by CV's word on that. Maybe not though.

It would be interesting to find out how this was verified. Or maybe it was a mistake on other (divorce) side. Hmmm

It says in the report that the officer phoned the agency to verify (it's written in first person). So, it does seem it's a mistake (intentional, or no?) on the divorce side. It doesn't really help their case to say that she was checked out and discharged.

Also, the officer said he spoke to another officer (Gallos?) who had attempted to verify info from the involuntary hold petition, and that after speaking to him and getting permission, they let Lori take herself to the mental health evaluation, even though the involuntary petition says the police should take her. So, they must have felt like the claims didn't have much merit (claims of the things Lori said). (MOO on that)

But having researched the PAP/AVOW bigwigs, the things she was saying are very much in line with the things they are saying, and convincing people of. (MOO)

Huh, must be easy to be a pretty blonde lady...

On one of the police videos released today, he says he hauls a load to Arkansas each week (from Arizona). So that's what he was doing at that time. One thing about being a trucker, if you own your rig you can be based out of a lot of places. He does seem to always be where Lori is, though. Their relationship creeps me out in more ways than one (MOO).

I can guarantee that's not the case. LE is actively investigating leads as they come in and are still investigating Tammy's death.

MOO: I can't speak for them directly, but I am convinced they have no evidence to show the kids are in Rexburg or surrounding area.

Hi @Tricia as diggndeeperstill says those podcast links don't work anymore. They were podcasts that were made by the POI's in the case (Lori and Chad). The podcast producers (PAP) pulled the podcasts down after Lori and Chad were named POI's but they left the links, dates, titles and descriptions up. I just want to check that it's OK to reference these podcast dates and titles in the timeline. I didn't link to them but I did write that the source is the PAP website. Here is some of what I have in the timeline:

25 June 2018 – Chad is on a podcast called ”PAP PODCAST 041 - Chad Daybell Quits his Day Job and Reclaims Liberty!” (PAP Website).

Sept 2018 Chad starts speaking on a paid podcast called "Glimpses Through the Veil" with the Preparing A People website (PAP website & Event Flyers).

15 Sept 2018 - Chad speaks at a Preparing A People event in Brigham City, Utah (PAP website & Event Flyers).

26-27 Oct 2018 - Chad speaks at a Preparing A People event in St George, Utah (PAP website & Event Flyers).

16-17 Nov 2018 - Chad speaks at a Preparing A People event in Mesa, AZ (PAP website & Event Flyers).

7 Dec 2018 – Lori does a podcast with MG & JM called “Time to Warrior Up - Find Your Closet”; (PAP Website)

15 Jan 2019 – Chad is a guest interview on a new Preparing A People podcast titled “Time To Warrior Up” with JM, MG & Lori Vallow. (PAP website).

15-16 Feb 2019 – PAP holds a 2-day event in Boise and Middleton, ID. Chad Speaks at the event on Feb 16. (PAP Flyer).

---------

Hopefully it's ok to reference these podcasts. I think they may be key in figuring out where Lori disappeared to in Jan/Feb 2019. Feb was a crazy month-- there was an order of protection, divorce papers, possible warrant for theft charges out of California and an order for a 72 hour psych evaluation -- all for Lori. Yet none of these various entities/LEA could find Lori to detain her or serve any papers. She disappeared for 58 days in Jan/Feb 2019. Now she has once again "disappeared" along with her new husband Chad and her 2 children.

But if it's not OK to reference the podcasts, please let me know, and I will remove all references to the PAP podcasts in the next timeline update. I understand if we can't talk about them. I just now realized that PAP has updated their December statement on this case to include a "cease & desist" request saying they don't want to be mentioned in any negative news stories about Chad and Lori: https://www.preparingapeople.com/

(I don't believe that cease and desist line was there when the statement was first posted December 26th and many MSM links had stories about Lori and Chad doing podcasts produced by PAP).

This is so well said!

She is a master manipulator. It's no wonder they didn't look too hard at Charles death, especially if Chandler PD had read these reports from Gilbert. They are super subjective leaning heavily in Lori's favor. Moo.

One more thing the makes this case (and all surrounding it) so flipping questionable. I don't like it.

MOO, but it does seem like Charles took her belongings from her car in order to force her to make contact with police--since he had the petition for the involuntary hold that if she made contact with PD she would be taken to the mental health agency for a three-day hold.

Crazy.

"Discharge" implies there was an "admission," and both were completed in "a few hours??" I wonder if there was actually just an assessment or something short of an admission. A meeting? After which, she left??

  • #836
I just can't believe she had the gall to march into a police station saying Charles took her purse, when she had just removed $35,000 from the bank account. Moo.

I totally think your last statement might have a lot to do with it.

But, CV didn’t help himself it seems from the get go with how it seems he responded to wanting to get to bank. Why did he want an order to admit her anyway? Was it to help her or keep her from hurting him?

Playing devils advocate... is the reason he went back to her because he exaggerated in order to keep from being ruined financially? Do they both have impulse control problems?

Would be interesting if that is even possible. I can’t imagine they have a psych available to do evals that fast.

So, they let her make contact on her own - for a few hours - verified that - and off she went. How nice.

I would love to see that "discharge" paperwork. I have personal experience with Community Bridges (Mesa), and you can certainly just walk out with no paperwork ( and no one will track you down). Moo.
